Tele2 is constantly improving the level of service provision and introducing new options for subscribers. But there is also another side to the coin. It lies in the fact that with a wide variety of services, there is a possibility of forgetting about connected paid services, which will lead to a decrease in the balance for no apparent reason. But when ordering details, you can find out that funds were written off for paid subscriptions or services. But by and large, they are not always relevant for subscribers. That is why we decided to tell you how to disable subscriptions on Tele2 using existing methods.
How to disable paid subscriptions on Tele2
There are no special services on Tele2 that would prohibit paid subscriptions. Instead, the operator offers many ways to configure and disable services:
- Personal account on the operator’s website;
- Tele2 mobile application;
- USSD commands for specific services;
- Contact support.
Using these methods, you can independently enable or disable any options on your number.
Let's take a closer look at how they work.
Important!
Often, when you subscribe, you are sent a message: “To unsubscribe, send an SMS with the text STOP.” We do not recommend doing this - sending such a message also costs money, and often quite a lot.
How to disable Tele2 menu mailings
The operator offers its subscribers, thanks to this convenient guide, the user can always be aware of current events, know the weather forecast, news, receive a horoscope service, movie news in the kinobest biz application and much more.
If you want to disable the “Tele2 menu”, then dial the combination (*152*8# call button). After this operation, you need to restart the phone.
In order to partially remove “Tele2 menu” subscriptions, you need to go to the “Tele2 menu” application, then (Tele2 theme), then “My themes”. By changing the topic status to (+) or (-), you thereby activate or deactivate the proposed newsletter.
If you do not know how to disable Tele2 theme yourself, use the services of an operator at 611. You can read more information about how to find out the services connected to Tele2 in our other article.
Short number 396 – offers daily horoscope
Information packages received by the user, as a rule, are thematic in nature. The subscriber should understand that this is paid content, for which funds are debited from the balance daily. If the mailing contains a picture, then the operator also withdraws funds in accordance with the tariff plan.
If you receive SMS from number 396, then your number is connected to a paid “Horoscope” subscription, which you can disable yourself in the “My Topics” menu or use the help of an operator by dialing 611.

Then go to the “Services” section. In it you can find out about all connected additional services, their functionality, cost, etc.

- Login to the application with your password.
- Click on the “Services” button on the main screen.
- Scroll through the list of paid services, find the one you need and pull the switch.
In addition, here you can get detailed information about the service. Click on it to see the exact cost, working conditions and USSD requests for management.
Disabling free subscriptions and SMS spam
To filter incoming messages, special options are provided that the user can configure himself.
To activate it, send a message to number 345. In the text of the SMS, write the number from which the advertising newsletter arrives. Thus, the user creates his own black list. If instead of a number the sender has a letter designation - the name of a company, store, service - then in the SMS you need to enter it in a case-sensitive manner, just like in received spam.
The service is also managed through SMS requests:
- "?" – view commands;
- “1” – blocked subscribers;
- “0*[spammer number] or 0*[alias] – cancel blocking of the selected subscriber;
- 00 – disable the “Antispam” option.
There is no charge for use, connection or disconnection.
SMS filter
This ad blocker works automatically and does not apply only to the Tele2 newsletter. The subscriber can choose the companies from which he wants to receive notifications. To do this, a white list is activated.
To manage the option, the following commands are provided:
- *936# – service menu;
- *936*8# – activate filtering;
- *936*0# – disable.
You can unsubscribe from the filter in your personal account on the website and in the My Tele2 application. The use of this service is accompanied by a subscription fee - 4 rubles/day, connection and the first day of use are free.
USSD commands
Each subscription or paid service has its own USSD request, which will allow you to quickly disable it.
You can find such information in the detailed description of the option. However, this is not very convenient - if you run a website or application, it is much easier to delete the subscription right there.
In addition to individual USSD requests, Tele2 also has universal options for disabling paid options:
- The command *189# will show you all the options that are connected to the current number. Enter it, and soon you will receive an SMS message with a list of paid services and commands to disable them.
- The *931# command will remove all paid web subscriptions from the current number automatically. The only drawback of the method is that useful options will also be disabled.
After you send the USSD command, wait a few minutes. You will soon receive a message that your subscription has been cancelled.
Other mailings on Tele2
You can also get rid of paid mailings yourself by typing a certain combination:
- “You are an eyewitness” – (144*1# call button);
- “Chameleon” – (*110*20# call key).
- The Tele2 menu offers a lot of information packages that may be useful to users.
- Mobile operator Tele2 offers its subscribers to use, which provides simultaneous communication with several users at once.
To activate the option, dial the combination (*107*4*4*1*# call button) - the service is free. To disable the command, dial the combination (*107*4*4*1*2# call button).
Support
If you are unable to disable a paid service on your own, ask Tele2 specialists for help. This can be done both online and offline/
Here are the ways you can contact support:
- Leave a request in the user’s personal account;
- Write to the online chat on the operator’s website at tele2.ru;
- Send a message to the number via WhatsApp and Viber instant messengers;
- Call the short number 611.
You can also always visit the operator’s communication salon. Take your passport with you.
What to do if any of the above methods are unsuccessful?
In this case, you must personally visit the local branch of the Tele2 operator with a complaint regarding the communication service provided and a written complaint. To make such an application, you will need to provide identification: passport or driver's license. In any case, a department employee will help resolve the problem. As a rule, you don’t even need to provide a phone number, but just indicate:
- 4 or 5 last numbers to which calls were made;
- approximate duration of conversations;
- last replenishment: date and amount;
- first and last name of the number holder.

Subscriptions without your participation
As is the case with other operators, paid subscriptions are sometimes added to Tele2 numbers without your consent. This can be done either by the company itself or by third-party services that obtained your number fraudulently.
Of course, no one will admit this to you directly. If you start complaining, the operator will most likely begin to convince you that you signed up for the service on your own.
How do you understand that a paid option has appeared on a number without your participation? Here are a few “symptoms”:
- Subscriptions are massive - across the country or specifically in your region. For example, in the summer of 2021, the same paid services were massively connected in the Oryol region.
- Are you sure you have not visited such a site? If the name, appearance of the resource and the information on it are not familiar to you, most likely, someone else subscribed instead of you.
- The connection message came when you did not pick up the phone. A notification is sent immediately after you subscribe. If at the time you received the SMS you were not using your phone and did not enter your number on any sites, the subscription was definitely issued “on the side”.
Of course, the household factor cannot be ruled out either. Perhaps children or elderly relatives took your phone and accidentally activated the option.
Check with your loved ones for this information. Nobody touched anything? Then feel free to write a claim.
The need for Tele2 content for subscribers
Connecting services is often a profitable option for clients. It allows you to save time searching for information. Let's look at what services can be activated as part of paid content:
- weather;
- horoscope;
- Exchange Rates;
- information for business;
- incidents;
- political news, etc.;
- entertainment software: jokes, aphorisms, videos, music, pictures, 18+, etc.
The service selects offers based on the subscriber’s request, so you need to remember that if you subscribe to “Aphorisms”, you will receive an advertisement with an offer to receive “Smart Books”, “Wisdom of Ages”, etc.
The Tele2 “Stop Content” option can be used only once; if the “Subject” is disabled, it cannot be reconnected. Therefore, it is recommended to check the list of your services, set up relevant ones and cancel unnecessary ones, but do not abandon the service completely. For example, the options “Traffic Police Fines”, “Online consultation with doctors”, “Anti-virus for smartphone” may be useful and necessary.
How to get your money back
To get your money back for a subscription you did not purchase, you will need to file a claim addressed to the operator. This can be done at the nearest Tele2 communication store.
Contact your consultant and ask him to give you a claim form. Fill it out as follows:
- Write your name and address in the upper right corner. Also leave your contacts here: phone, e-mail. The full name of the head, company name and legal address are already entered into the form by default.
- State the essence of the complaint. Provide the exact date and time of receipt of the SMS about subscription, and the address of the paid service.
- Attach a printout of screenshots of the message, if necessary.
- Put the date and signature with the transcript.
If the salon employees refuse to issue the form, ask for a complaint book. Indicate in it the time and date of the incident, record the names of the workers.
If this is also denied, you can submit a claim against the work of the salon and specific employees to Rospotrebnadzor, FAS or Roskomnadzor. This is a direct violation of your consumer rights.
An application to these authorities is written according to the same principle as a claim for Tele2.
