View subscriptions on an Android mobile device

Often, customers of mobile operators complain that money disappears from their balance. In this regard, the question arises of how to check subscriptions and how to disable them. Sometimes paid subscriptions can be activated without the subscriber’s knowledge, and then funds up to hundreds of rubles can be withdrawn from the balance. To avoid this, you need to know all the methods by which you can view active MTS subscriptions. And also how they can be turned off and prevented from being turned on again.

How to view connected subscriptions

There are many ways to view the information you need that only your phone or computer can do. They all work and will be described below. Which method MTS clients choose depends on personal preferences and convenience.

Via ussd request

Using a free service from MTS called “Expense Control,” you can find out all connected subscriptions on your mobile phone. To display the service menu on the device screen, you must use the combination *152#. After dialing it, you need to make a call for the menu to open. In it you should already select the “Your paid services” section and the information will be provided in a couple of seconds.

Additionally, MTS network users can use another combination, namely *152*2#. By entering such a request, a menu will open on the mobile screen where you can find out the connected paid services. They are also immediately deactivated through the menu.

As a rule, after requesting information on paid services, MTS will send the client a text notification with a list of all active services on the number. In addition, the message will indicate their exact cost and deactivation codes.

Via SMS

An equally convenient method for verification is the use of text messages. The method is not charged and the MTS company has the name “My Services”. This method allows clients to clarify data about all connected services, both paid and free.

To use the service, it will be enough to send a regular SMS to dial 8111. In the body of the letter you need to indicate the number 1 to find out about active services and their cost. If you specify the number 0 in the body of the letter, you will only be able to find out about services that are provided free of charge.

If you send an empty message to 8111, the subscriber will receive information about all connected subscriptions in response.

Checking via the Internet

Using the Internet to detail such information is very convenient, since all the information will be clearly visible on the screen. To do this, clients need to use their MTS personal account, in which they will need to first register. You can do this by following the link login.mts.ru/. After specifying your number, you will receive an SMS with an authorization code. Then the main account menu will open, where you can view the information.

To view paid services, you need to go to the section with tariffs and services, and then go to the management tab. A list of all services that are assigned to the mobile number will appear in the open menu.

To view only paid subscriptions, you will need to go to the “My Content” section and select the “Ordered Content” tab.

There is also a method for detailing information via the Internet using the “My Content” resource; you can find it on the MTS website or by following the link moicontent.mts.ru/. To authorize in the system, you will need a password from your personal account.

For smartphone owners, it is recommended to record and install the “My MTS” mobile application, which is functionally similar to your personal account. To use the application you will need mobile internet.

Receiving information by phone

To obtain subscription data via a mobile phone, you can use MTS Services. To do this, the user needs to enter the request *111#. After this, a menu will open, you should select the necessary items in it, indicating the corresponding numbers, and then the data will be visible to any subscriber.

Additionally, you can use the menu of your SIM card. To do this, you need to go to the menu on your phone and find the SIM menu shortcut. After that, go to MTS info and go to settings. Paid subscriptions that are on the number will be available there.

The last method of detailing data via telephone is to call the customer support operator. To contact, you need to dial 88002500890 or 0890. This method is quite lengthy, since you need to wait for a response from a free employee, and after connecting, subscribers need to provide their passport information for personal identification.

Ways to protect your phone from subscriptions

All operators have special services to control costs. By activating this service, hidden subscriptions will no longer be able to be activated without your knowledge. You will always know where your funds are spent.

In addition, you can install your operator’s application, which displays both the balance and all services.

Installing an antivirus for your smartphone can be a good protection. It has all the necessary functions that will notify you of malicious sites that can impose their services on you.

Use Chrome or Yandex browsers to surf the Internet via your smartphone. They contain databases with links to phishing sites.

How to disable paid mobile subscriptions

After checking all the subscriptions on your phone number, you may have a question about how to disable them. To do this, you can use different methods and they will all work regardless of the method of activating services.

Disconnection via the Internet

If you need to deactivate paid services, you must remember about the Internet assistant, namely your personal account. The service works via the Internet on a PC and is available to any MTS client free of charge.

To deactivate, you must log in to the system using your mobile number and password. Then you will need to go to the section with tariffs and services and click on the management tab. A new window will display a list of connected services with their costs. To deactivate, just press the shutdown key. After a successful operation, you will receive an SMS confirmation on your phone.

Disable via SMS

For those who do not have access to your account and cannot register, you can use text messages. Initially, you will need to send a blank SMS to 8111. After this, the operator will send a list of active subscriptions on the number with their cost and methods for disabling. Having selected an unnecessary service, you will need to enter a deactivation number, and the service will be disabled. Each service has its own deactivation code.

It is worth noting that MTS does not have other methods of deactivation using messages.

By ussd request

Disabling subscriptions using a ussd request is convenient and quick, but to do this you need to know the request combination. To use the method, you need to enter the command *152*2# on your phone and press the call button. A menu will open in which you should click on number 2 and then disable services.

Another method is to use *152# request. After dialing and calling the menu, the client will have to go through the section of his paid services. In a few seconds, a message will be delivered to your mobile device with active paid services and combinations to disable them.

If you need to unsubscribe from all subscriptions at once, you can use the already known request *152#. Having called up the menu, you need to go to the tab with entertainment services, and then click on the unsubscribe tab. When the operation is completed, the subscriber will receive an SMS to the number confirming the deactivation.

Disabling via the SIM card menu

Using a mobile phone, there is another method to disable subscriptions. To do this, you will need to use the menu of your SIM card. To unsubscribe from services, enter the gadget menu, and then find the SIM menu icon. Next, you need to go to the MTS info section and go to settings. There will be a quick launch item in the settings, and after entering it you should click on the unsubscribe button.

This method is carried out very quickly and if it does not help, then you can try logging into MTS Services. To do this, enter the command *111# and select the necessary items in the menu by pressing the corresponding numbers.

Option 3: Official website of the application/service

Due to the fact that Google takes a 30% commission from developers for subscriptions and other paid services they provide within the Play Market, they often bypass the rules of the digital platform and offer to make payments through their website. This option most often turns out to be cheaper, and sometimes the only one possible (a good example is the popular streaming services Netflix and Spotify).

In this case, you can view and, if necessary, cancel an active subscription by analogy with the instructions presented in the previous part of the article. In addition, there are two more detailed guides on our website that discuss just such examples - they will certainly help you understand the issue.
