Yota introduced a new device in its line - the Yota Wi-Fi modem. This is the first 4G LTE modem in Russia that can create a Wi-Fi network for other devices.
The Yota Wi-Fi modem gives the user almost the same capabilities as the Yota Many mobile router. At the same time, it is half the size and almost half the price. The difference between the new device is that it requires electrical power to operate, since the modem does not have a built-in battery. The Yota Wi-Fi modem can be connected to a computer, car or wall charger with a standard USB connector.
The new modem connects up to 8 devices to a Wi-Fi network simultaneously. No configuration is required to operate in modem mode. By default, the device creates an open Wi-Fi network called Yota.
