You don’t need to do anything additional, and after a few minutes (often within a minute) an SMS will be sent to your phone with a message about a successfully completed action or with information about active services and remaining traffic in packages.

Disadvantages of the Tele2 operator
We have figured out the advantages of Tele2 - it has a lot of unlimited packages, there are customizable tariff plans, and there is a Market for buyers and sellers of services. It's time to talk about the shortcomings, of which there are not so many.
Coverage area
One of the disadvantages of Tele2 is not the widest coverage area. On the one hand, this is true, but on the other hand, there are small clarifications that somewhat shift this drawback:
- Despite MegaFon's leadership in the number of base stations, there are many places where there is no connection from MegaFon, although there is connection from Tele2;
- In 2021, the company increased the number of base stations throughout the country by 28%, and in Moscow by 45%;
- In 2021, the number of LTE base stations for high-speed network access increased by 55%;
- In last place in terms of the number of base stations is the mobile operator Beeline (PJSC VimpelCom), but not Tele2.
Thus, the Tele2 network is continuously growing, its coverage area is increasing. At the same time, even MegaFon and MTS have “white spots”, which are characterized by the widest possible coverage and a large number of base stations. Tele2’s desire to expand the number of BS is due to the powerful growth of its subscriber base and its demand for high-speed mobile Internet.
No longer a discounter
For a long time, the operator Tele2 was a discounter. He offered subscribers really low communication rates. For example, on some tariffs the cost of one minute of conversation was only a few seconds. You could talk for half an hour and spend about 2-3 rubles. Today, calls on the per-minute “Classic” tariff cost from 1.3 rubles/min.
With the advent of package tariff plans, the situation has not changed; calls and Internet remain extremely cheap. For example, on the “Black” tariff of the 2021 version, the subscription fee was only 120 rubles/month, which included 200 minutes to any numbers in the country and 500 MB of traffic. For budget-conscious subscribers, it was more than cheap, given the unlimited calls to Tele2 numbers in their home region.
Subsequently, everything changed - today Tele2 cannot be called a discounter. The operator himself also refused such a bold status. Tele2 tariffs have aligned with the tariffs of competitors, but in some regions there are still biases in favor of the former discounter.
