Unlim Talks Kyivstar is one of the new tariffs, which was released on October 10, 2017. Of all the offers, this is the most affordable for subscribers. The monthly fee in this tariff plan is the minimum among all. But this is enough to get unlimited calls to Kyivstar numbers.
Tariff "Unlim Talks"
“Unlim Talks” from the Kyivstar company is a tariff with a wide range of possibilities for those who are used to a lot of active communication on the phone. During development, emphasis was placed on the subscriber's voice communication, since calls within the network are completely unlimited, and the price of a minute of communication with clients of other mobile operators will be only 0.6 UAH. Let's consider the conditions in more detail:
- incoming and outgoing calls within the network are absolutely free;
- the package includes 500 MB of high-speed Internet;
- in training and educational applications (including Prometheus, Wikipedia, MyBook) Internet traffic is not charged;
- free use of the specialized VEON application.
This range of services is provided for a single subscription fee – 45 UAH. If you exhaust 500 MB of Internet, you have the opportunity to purchase additional packages - up to 5 pieces per day. Thus, the cost of one package of 50 MB will cost 5 UAH. If the offered packages are used up by the end of the day, you will still have access to the mobile Internet, but the speed will drop significantly - to 128 kb/sec. However, these values will be quite sufficient for checking mail and news sites.
New unlimited tariffs from Kyivstar: what's the catch?
Starting today, Kyivstar introduces new tariff plans for prepaid and contract mobile subscribers.
The operator divided all offers for prepaid clients into three key needs of subscribers. And he added an expanded version to them, which, according to marketers, will be useful to lovers of “everything at once.” In the end it turned out like this:
- Unlim conversations
- Unlim social networks
- Unlim video
- Unlim maximum

Conversations without end
In the cheapest package from Kyivstar “Unlim Talks” the operator offers for only 45 UAH/month not to limit subscribers in chatting with any owner of a Kyivstar number. This is where the “unlimitedness” of the package ends. For every minute of communication with subscribers of competing operators you will have to pay 60 kopecks. And the tariff for landline numbers is 1.5 UAH/min.
The package included 500 MB of Internet traffic. For each additional megabyte you need to pay. The subscriber will be automatically sold a package of 50 MB worth 5 UAH 5 times a day. every. But if you can’t meet this limit, the download speed will be limited to 128 kb/s. True, they will not withdraw additional money. And with the onset of a new day, the countdown of new 5 additional packages of 5 UAH will begin. every. And so on until the subscriber runs out of money in his account.
The tariff does not include free SMS. At the beginning, the subscriber is offered to buy a package of 100 messages for 2 UAH. And upon completion - a package of 10 SMS for the same 2 UAH. The latter can be no more than 90. SMS to foreign numbers was estimated at 2.20 UAH/piece.
Limitless social networks
The “social” package for 65 UAH/month is not much different from the conversational one. Here we just added Internet traffic (3000 MB included in the database) and added 50 minutes of free calls to the networks of other mobile operators. In addition, the operator promises not to count the traffic that the subscriber will spend on viewing popular social networks.
A minute of calls “to the city” will also cost 1.5 UAH, and calls with subscribers of other mobile operators after completing the bonus 50 minutes will cost the same 60 kopecks.

The rules for over-limiting Internet traffic in this package are exactly the same as in the cheapest “talk” package.
Video until the morning
The unlimited video package already includes 6000 MB of Internet in the database. The operator also offers 100 minutes of calls to numbers of other operators and 100 SMS to Ukrainian numbers at no additional charge. For all this, subscribers will have to fork out 95 UAH.
Above the established limits, the same special tariffs will apply - 1.5 UAH. for calls to the city, 0.6 UAH. per minute of conversation with subscribers of other operators. And “sluggish” Internet at a speed of 128 kb/s after using up the bonus megabytes.
The operator promises that watching videos on Youtube and some other services will not be charged.
Maximum
In the maximum package for 155 UAH/month. Kyivstar promises natural unlimited only for Internet traffic and calls within the network. In addition, the operator can issue, at the request of a generous subscriber, an additional SIM card free of charge, which can be used to access the Internet on a second device.
The package also includes 300 SMS to Ukrainian numbers (for messages to foreign numbers you also need to pay 2.20 UAH) and 300 minutes for calls with subscribers of other operators. For landline numbers, the subscriber will pay the same 1.5 UAH per minute of conversation.
Important
And of course, the main catch is the validity period of the packages and payment for services. A careless subscriber who did not manage to top up his account in time for the operator to charge the next monthly fee will have to live under completely different conditions.

For a package of non-tariffed minutes within the network, the subscriber will pay 2 UAH. (the number of minutes included in this package is not indicated). For calls to landline numbers – 1.5 UAH/min. Calls to numbers of other operators will cost 60 kopecks. The subscriber will be given Internet in packages of 50 MB, costing 5 UAH. every. Moreover, there can be no more than 5 such packages per day.
It is also worth noting that all saved megabytes, minutes and SMS are reset to zero upon expiration of the package. Every next month the subscriber is given a basic set of prepaid services.

Tariff “Unlim Social Networks”
According to the terms of the “Unlim Social Networks” tariff from Kyivstar, the monthly payment will be 65 UAH. Thus, it is 20 hryvnia more expensive than the previous option we considered. However, in both cases, the subscriber will receive guaranteed unlimited communication on the Kyivstar internal network. This package is intended for those who cannot live without social networks and the Internet in general. After the ban on several social networks, only Facebook and Twitter are available to Ukrainian users, and here they are also free. Otherwise, the tariff conditions are as follows:
- 3 GB mobile internet;
- unlimited calls within Kyivstar;
- 50 minutes for conversations with users of other operators;
- free VEON mobile application;
- unlimited access to global social networks – Facebook and Twitter;
- educational portals within the “Knowledge without Borders” option are not charged;
- after 50 minutes are exhausted, the cost of calls is 0.6 UAH.
- 100 SMS included.
Otherwise, the conditions are the same as in the “Unlim Talks” tariff - so, the user can at any time receive additional Internet packages of 50 MB each.
Unlim Video Kyivstar – characteristics of the tariff plan
This tariff is one of the new ones recently announced by Kyivstar. Its conditions are similar to the “Maximum Unlim” TP, but one grade lower; and it includes what was present in the new tariffs with a lower monthly fee. That is, here, as in “Unlim Social Network”, you can use social networks for free, and like in “Unlim Conversations”, you can receive unlimited communication with subscribers of the Kyivstar network, immediately after making an advance payment.
For 95 hryvnia per month, and this is the amount of the prepayment, packages of 100 minutes for calls to subscribers of other operators and 100 text messages for sending them throughout Ukraine are credited. In the regional version of the Unlim Video+ tariff, the number of similar packages has been doubled, and this with a reduced prepayment amount of 5 hryvnia. Therefore, those subscribers who fall within the coverage area of the plus tariff will use it on more favorable terms.
Internet in Kyivstar Video Unlim, 6 GB will be credited every month. Of course, this is not unlimited, as in the maximum version, but still, significantly more than in other new products. And if you consider that the social networks Facebook and Twitter, as well as YouTube video hosting, are free, then 6000 MB per month may never end.
Terms of the new unlimited video Kyivstar tariff
“Knowledge Without Borders” is a special service aimed at education, which is automatically included in the tariff plan. This is free access to Wikipedia and some other educational services. All this, most likely, will make this particular tariff the most popular among the tariff plans released on 10/10/2017.
Additional terms
As mentioned earlier, all subscribers who connect to one of the proposed tariff plans get access to the VEON application. This is a convenient Internet messenger, the use of which will be completely free. However, only text content is not charged. Images and videos you submit will be charged based on your base plan.
If the SMS package from Kyivstar is not enough for you, for 1 UAH. You can always buy 10 additional SMS messages.

How to connect to the “Unlim Talks” and “Unlim Social Networks” tariffs
There are several convenient ways to join the Kyivstar company:
- If you definitely decide to become a client of the Kyivstar operator, buy a starter set of services (SIM card) with the established tariff plan (the cost will be 45 UAH for “Unlim Conversations” and 65 UAH for “Unlim Social Networks”). Next, all you have to do is activate the purchased package by following the instructions. The starting package of services can be absolutely anything - having become a Kyivstar subscriber, you have the right at any time to change the tariff plan to any other one that is more profitable specifically for you.
- If you are an existing subscriber of the company and want to change the tariff conditions, install the “My Kyivstar” mobile application (works on Android and iOS devices).
