Telegram with notification of delivery from Russian Post

Some time ago, people actively used this type of communication as a telegram. At that time there were no cell phones, and not every apartment had landlines. Therefore, when it was necessary to convey urgent news or congratulate a loved one on a holiday, many people used postal telegrams.

Currently, in the age of high technology, this type of message has lost its popularity, but still has not been forgotten. Some people still use the telegraph to congratulate family and friends on holidays. After all, this method is considered unusual and even original in our time. Do you want to surprise someone with your congratulations? Send him a congratulatory telegram - and such a gift will definitely remain in his memory for a long time.

But still, most modern residents of megacities, as well as small towns, do not know what a telegram is and how to send it. This article will tell you about this interesting and almost forgotten type of message, each option and ways to send a telegram.

Why do you need to send a telegram?

In the matter of assessing damage, one of the most important legal points is sending a telegram . The country's legislation states that during an independent assessment of damage, you must call all interested parties to inspect the property being assessed. If this is not done, then if disagreements arise with the defendant, the culprit may claim that he did not know that an independent examination was carried out. Based on this, the court may declare this examination invalid. Therefore, you will have to hold it again, but this time in the presence of all interested parties.

They have the right not to attend the inspection, but you must notify them of the time, place and date of the inspection. On a certain day, at the appointed time and at the specified address, you need to provide the property being valued for inspection, for example, it could be an apartment or a car. The second party has the right to be late no more than 30 minutes. In half an hour, the appraiser will conduct an inspection in your presence.

Transfer and delivery

The public telegraph network in Russia is the only service that provides the transmission of text messages with a guaranteed delivery time to any postal address. It is the functioning of the service in accordance with the clear regulations for the provision of the TELEGRAM service that ensures guaranteed delivery of messages throughout Russia. The telecommunications operator provides telegraph communication services on the basis of an agreement for the provision of telegraph communication services.

The TELEGRAM for delivery is accepted at the post office, by telephone or by e-mail (via the REX400 system).

Written Notice

What is the correct way to “notify in writing”?

Often we are faced with the need to notify someone: an employer about dismissal, a seller about a complaint about the quality of a product, neighbors about the sale of a room, and in many other situations. When it comes to the need to “notify in writing,” you should know that this is a legally significant action that has corresponding consequences.

Many civil lawsuits can only be initiated after a pre-trial settlement has been completed. That is, it is necessary to prove that attempts were made to reach an agreement before going to court. What if the other party refuses to compromise or completely ignores requests? And in such cases, the law allows you to go to court. But a mandatory condition for accepting the claim for consideration is confirmation that the plaintiff has properly notified the defendant.

A way to avoid trial

Is proper written notice only important to the court? Not at all! You don't want to sue, do you? Rest assured: so does the person you need to notify. Having received a written notification from you, for example, sent by a notary (more on this below), he will understand that you:

  • are ready to bring the case to court;
  • are legally literate enough to defend their interests in court.

And this is a direct path to a pre-trial resolution of the situation.

Notification form

All notifications that citizens have to deal with can be divided into:

  • notification of various state and municipal authorities;
  • legally significant messages in civil law relations.

Upon notification of the state. bodies most often use forms approved by various by-laws (administrative regulations, instructions, orders, letters from various ministries and departments).

In civil law relations, notifications are usually made in free form.

Sometimes the parties to a contract, in order to make their lives easier, make the forms of the most important notices and notifications annexes to the concluded contract.

Notification by telegram

When organizing an inspection to conduct an independent examination or assessment of property, it is necessary to notify all interested parties in writing. There is a certain order of calling the parties that must be followed. This section is devoted to clarifying issues related to sending telegrams and inviting parties to the inspection.

Why is it necessary to send a telegram?

Sending a telegram is a very important legal point in the issue of assessing damage. According to current legislation, when conducting an independent assessment of damage, you are obliged to invite all interested parties to inspect the property being assessed. Otherwise, if any disagreements arise with the defendant (if proceedings with the defendant or his insurance company take place in court), the culprit may claim that he was not notified of the independent examination, and the court will recognize the examination as invalid . And he will make a decision on the need to conduct a re-examination with a call to all interested parties.

Interested parties may not appear for the inspection, this is their right, but you are obliged to notify them of the date, place and time of the inspection. On the agreed day, at the specified address, at the appointed time, you provide the property being valued (car or apartment) for inspection. The other party is given half an hour for possible delay, and after this time the expert appraiser carries out an inspection in your presence.

Who should the telegram be sent to?

Telegrams must be sent to all interested parties. Namely:

  • In the event of an apartment flood, a telegram is sent to the person responsible for the flood;
  • In the event of an accident - to the culprit of the accident;
  • To the remaining participants in the accident (if there are more than 2 participants in the accident);
  • The at-fault party's insurance company;
  • To the Russian Union of Auto Insurers - RSA (in the event that the license of the culprit’s insurance company has been revoked);

How should a telegram be sent?

All telegrams must be sent with return receipt requested. To do this, when sending a telegram, you must inform the postal worker that you need a delivery receipt for each telegram you send. The postal worker will need to confirm with you the delivery address for the notice. We advise you to indicate an address that is convenient for you, for example, home or work.

After the telegram is delivered, the postman will deliver the ordered notification to the address you indicated at the post office. The notification contains information about where the telegram was delivered and also to whom the telegram was delivered.

A situation may arise that the notification will say that the telegram was not delivered to the culprit due to an incorrectly specified address, and the address for submitting the telegram coincides with the address of the culprit indicated in the traffic police certificate, or that this person does not live at this address. Don't worry about this, nothing bad happened. By law, you are required to notify the culprit, and you, as a respectable citizen, did everything possible to do this, but due to the fact that the culprit indicated the wrong address, you were unable to do this. The main thing is that you will have documents on hand confirming that you tried to call the culprit.

You must also make a certified copy of the telegram at the post office. To do this, you can either bring all the telegrams you send at once in two copies, or make a copy directly at the post office. After this, one of the copies of the telegram is stamped by the given post office and returned to you. This is done so that the culprit cannot later claim that he received a telegram from you, but with a completely different content.

What is a Russian Post telegram?

The telegram offered by the Russian Post involves a short message transmitted through a postal employee by telephone. The sender fills out the form and gives it to the postal worker, who then calls the desired department and dictates the telephone message. Next, the postman goes to the specified address and delivers the message, which is signed by the recipient, and the proof is transferred to the customer of the service.

The telegram itself is printed on a separate sheet of paper; it must indicate who sent the message and who the text is intended for. The telegram is used in the following cases:

  • the need to convey urgent news;
  • send official information;
  • congratulate you on a holiday or express condolences;
  • convey your arrival plans.

When should a telegram be sent?

Telegrams to the culprit, the insurance company, as well as all other interested parties are sent no later than 3 working days before the agreed day of inspection of the car if the addressee lives with you in the same region (Moscow-Moscow) and 5 working days if he lives in another region (Moscow-Moscow). Telegrams are sent for the specified period of time, excluding the day of inspection and the day of notification.

You are scheduled to assess the damage on Tuesday of next week, and your defendant lives in your city. To do this, you need to send a telegram no later than Wednesday of the current week.

That is, funds for sending can be debited from the mobile phone account, but this will require paying a commission of 2-4%, depending on the mobile operator.

Telegrams in the 21st century can still be sent, and this can be done both from post offices and via the Internet. An urgent message will arrive within four hours, a standard message in 8-12 hours, depending on the distance of the recipient.

You can send an ordinary, congratulatory or ritual telegram from the Russian Post website. To send, you just need to know the recipient's phone number. The telegram will be delivered on regular or congratulatory letterhead. The service is provided by PJSC Central Telegraph.

Letter by Russian Post

Notification through Russian Post services is the most common method. In this case, it is permissible to use the following options for sending letters:

  • registered with acknowledgment of delivery;
  • valuable with an inventory and notification of delivery.

A simple letter cannot be notified. The reason for this prohibition is the inability to further confirm its receipt by the addressee.

The difference between registered and valued letters in this context is that after sending a registered letter, the sender only has a receipt confirming the fact that it was sent. And in the case of a valuable letter, not only a receipt, but also a list of attachments, confirming exactly which documents were sent.
