Promised payment is a service that allows subscribers to use funds on an advance basis (credit) in the amount of the limit established by the operator. The presence of this feature helps out in situations when the balance becomes negative, and the client is deprived of the opportunity to use communication services, while not being able to quickly replenish the balance.

The mobile operator Velcom does not have a service as such. But there is a worthy replacement, which is called “Payment upon delivery”. It must be said that it has some advantages over the classic promised payment:

  • You can use the service with any negative balance;
  • connecting and disconnecting the service is free;
  • unlimited use of communication services.

In essence, this is a mode of using services in advance mode.

Peculiarities

This option is useful when there is no money in your account, but you need to make an urgent call, send an SMS message or go online.
Any client of a particular network can borrow from an operator when his balance approaches negative. Since the service can be useful to any client, many Belarusian subscribers have a question: is it possible to take the “Promised Payment” on Velcom? And what solution does the provider offer to its users who find themselves with zero balance?

How to set up automatic payment for Velcom services

Velcom is the second wireless communications provider in Belarus by number of subscribers. The company is constantly improving, providing its customers with the highest quality telecommunications services (GSM 900/1800 and Internet according to GPON standards). The operator is currently undergoing rebranding, with the transition to the A1 brand.

Subscribers are especially committed to the constantly introduced new services that allow them to use mobile communications with maximum efficiency. New convenient options that make paying subscription fees as simple as possible include “Automatic payment”. What the service consists of and what its advantages can be learned from the material in this article.

Conditions for connecting to the service

The option has its own characteristics:

  1. The client can take out a loan for 3 days. After the time has passed, the borrowed money will be automatically debited from the balance. If the subscriber fails to top up the balance on time, the number will be temporarily blocked. Unblocking will occur immediately after funds are deposited onto the card and the debt is written off.
  2. The option involves a small commission. Each operator has its own.
  3. The user can borrow a certain amount. The loan size will depend on the client’s monthly mobile spending and the service life of the SIM card. In other words, the more the subscriber uses the number, and the more money he spends on cellular services, the larger the amount of his credit will be.

Advice! If you receive an SMS about an unconfirmed payment, double-check the correctness of the entered data.

Unfortunately, Velcom subscribers will not be able to activate the “Promised payment” option. However, do not rush to change the operator. In Minsk, as well as throughout Belarus, Velcom clients have access to an alternative option of a modified format - “Payment Registration”, otherwise referred to as “Payment upon delivery”.

Cost of use

The fee for using the options is based on the results of the actual use of the services provided. That is, the subscriber does not need to make an initial payment to connect to the service. The invoice will be issued upon delivery. It will indicate the costs associated with communication at the end of the month. Information about expenses is provided to subscribers before the 10th day of the next month after the current one. Payment must be made no later than the 12th.

To clarify the size of the subscription fee, you can dial the key combination - “asterisk” 100 “asterisk” 5 “hash” and the “call” key. The payment amount can be made in any way convenient for the subscriber.

How to get the “Promised payment” on Velcom?

Since it is impossible to take the “Promised Payment” on Velcom (for reasons unknown to the consumer), customers have to be content with a function called “Payment Registration”.

This product is not a loan. In fact, it just delivers money from other resources to the consumer. Today, the Velcom telesystem does not provide guaranteed loans.

If the provider does not provide another opportunity to deposit money into your account, let’s look at options for activating the “Payment Registration” function. You can activate the option in two ways:

1) By sending a USSD code. In this case, to make a financial transaction, the subscriber needs to dial the digital combination * 141 * 1 # on the phone and press the call button. After sending the request, a form will be displayed on the device monitor in which you will need to enter the following data: payment date stamped on the check, transaction amount, financial institution through which the payment was made.

By the way, you can deposit money on Velcom through:

  • bank branch;
  • bank card (if desired, a bank card can be attached to the number via your personal account and you can order monthly automatic payment);
  • Postal office;
  • cellular provider office.

2) Through a call to the company service phone. To do this, call 410 or 411, and after connecting, ask the operator to activate the service on the SIM card. Please note that the technical support employee may need your personal data (full name, series and passport number), so just in case, prepare the necessary document.

Restrictions and limits

The option has its own rules and restrictions:

  1. available to physical Velcom subscribers throughout the country (except for subscribers using the Privet tariff plan). However, only subscribers who are on a tariff plan with a prepaid payment system will be able to use the service.
  2. Within 30 calendar days, even if the account has a minus, the user can use Velcom communications (call, send SMS, etc.), provided that the balance is replenished on the 12th of the next month.
  3. The amount must be paid in full. In case of non-payment, the provider may refuse to service the number until the required amount is paid.

Additional options at zero

If there is insufficient funds in the account, the subscriber can use . It allows you to send a request asking to call back.

To do this, you need to send the command *131*number in nine-digit format#.

The recipient receives an SMS notification of a request to call back.

This feature is not available in roaming, when using tariff plans for which incoming communications are blocked when the balance is zero.

There are restrictions. You can use it no more than 5 times a day, and those connected to “Hello” - 2 times.

Other ways to top up your account

Fortunately, the “Registration of payment” option, or in other words “Payment upon actual”, is not the only payment services of the provider.

For the comfort of subscribers, the provider also provides the following payment options:

  1. "V wallet." Allows you to pay for various online purchases and Velcom cellular services from a smartphone, with a limit of +100 rubles. The period for issuing installments is 20-50 days. The option can be activated in the “V-banking” mobile application.
  2. Service of OJSC "Belagroprombank". Allows you to pay for various goods/cellular services, utilities by sending a request * 250 #. You can activate the function through “Internet banking”.
  3. WebPay option. Available to subscribers using Visa and MasterCart cards. Designed to pay for Velcom cellular services. Funds can be deposited directly on the service website.

Procedure and rules for using the service Promised payment on Velcom

As a rule, you can take any promised payment either in the operator’s personal account, or using a special command, that is, by entering a key sequence. This action will not work for the Velkom operator, since the full promised payment is not available.

The only way that will allow you to quickly restore access to communication is the “payment registration” function. It allows you to speed up the process of transferring funds, that is, not enter the promised payment to Velcom, but only speed up the transfer of funds that were sent by the user but have not yet been transferred.

This operation can be done in two ways:

  1. Through a special command that will need to be entered on the phone.
  2. By calling support.

In each case, you will need to confirm the fact of payment, that is, the client does not have a debt to the operator, he only asks to speed up the process of transferring funds that have already been paid for communication.

This operator does not offer a trusted transfer of funds, in the usual sense of this service. The client is deprived of the opportunity to promise to repay the amount transferred to him in advance; he can only enter it and ask for a faster transfer to his account.

Important information about “payment registration”

Velcom does not allow you to take the promised credit; it is only possible to speed up the actual payment. The service will be available only if the funds were transferred earlier and were not credited to the current account.

This function will require some proof. You will need to confirm that the payment was made, so you will need a receipt, payment number, or other information indicating that the transaction took place.

We use USSD request

The request will be free for all Wellcom subscribers. A number of steps will need to be taken:

  • enter the command *141*1# on your phone and use the “call” command;
  • a request will appear on the phone screen in which you will need to indicate the date of payment in the presented format;
  • Next, enter the amount paid by the user;
  • the payment method is selected by selecting the appropriate number, where 1 means payment at a bank branch, 2 - using a credit card, 3 - at a post office, and 4 - directly at the operator’s office.

Benefits of the option

Connecting to the function has a number of advantages:

Once connected, the function begins to work on the 1st day of the month following activation. Any information about changes in the operation of the institution, as well as the fact that the required amount for transferring the subscription fee is not available, will be sent in the form of an SMS to the client’s phone number.

Another additional opportunity that is available to the company’s clients. Its essence is that the operator conditionally “gives” users 100 rubles every month to a special account, which they can use to pay for purchases, including on the Internet.

This service costs 3 rubles for the fact of using such an additional wallet. The first month is free.

The payment must be repaid within the agreed period, which ranges from 21 to 50 days. Otherwise, communication services will be suspended and funds will be forcibly collected.

Important! Only individuals can use the service. It is not provided to organizations.

Velcom simply does not receive the promised payment. This fact often upsets users, since the procedure is quite convenient. It is not always possible to transfer funds, and communication services may be required at any time. The operator’s clients have the right to use other options, for example, registering a payment, which speeds up the actual transfer of money to a mobile number.

Post offices

Payment can be made in 2 ways:

  • at the window through the cashier;
  • via terminal.

In the first case, you can also use a bank card or cash.

We recommend that you carry out transactions through the terminal if it is available at the post office. The advantages of this method are: replenishing the balance in cash (paper bills), with a bank card, as a rule, there are no queues, and quick execution of the transaction. What is a promised payment?

Not all people keep track of their mobile phone balance, which can lead to situations where funds suddenly run out.
If you need to make a call from a Velcom number, you have to look for ways to quickly top up, for example, the promised payment. At the same time, it is not always possible to top up your balance via the Internet, a terminal, or from another mobile phone account. In a hopeless situation, people decide to take the promised payment on Velcom. Many operators offer this service; its principle is that a person borrows funds from the cellular service. He is given a certain period to return them through replenishment of the balance. For example, exactly three days are allotted for the return of the Promised Payment, after which the number will be blocked. The disadvantage of having to take out money on credit is that you have to pay extra for the service. If there are no other options, then you have to look for ways to borrow funds from Velcom.

What is “Available Balance”

This service allows the subscriber to set a limit by which the balance can go negative, while retaining all the ability to make calls and send SMS messages. The user has access to limits of 1, 2 and 3 rubles. After that, he has a week to use mobile communications within the established limits. After the expiration date, you must top up your balance.

To find out the available limit amount for your tariff, you must enter the command *111#. Its volume directly depends on how much the subscriber spends per month on paying for the company’s services. The same command is used to connect.

The following available limit options apply to the package:

  • up to 1 rub. with a one-time contribution of 0.05 rubles;
  • up to 3 rub. with a one-time contribution of 0.15 rubles;
  • up to 2 rub. with a one-time payment of 0.10 rubles.

The service is valid for tariff plans of the “Privet” line and the packages “Communication without obligations”, “Money for you”, “Privetik”, “Our town”.

Promised payment to Velcom: does the operator provide this service?

Velcom subscribers often want to receive the promised payment. At the same time, they are faced with the question of whether the operator provides this service. Velcom provides a large number of different services, but there is currently no trust payment.
However, the company is not going to introduce it, because it does not see the need for it. Most likely, the company's management believes that people do not need the promised payment, because in this case they will stop systematically replenishing the account.

The Welkom operator has also provided several service commands that allow you to quickly find out various information.

Using USSD requests, it is convenient to manage your tariff plan and services in real time. There is no need to visit a communication shop or call an operator; all the necessary information appears on the screen after entering the command.

The promised payment is a loan received from the operator to the phone account, allowing you to resume access to communications in the absence of funds on the balance. It is especially necessary when services are needed urgently, but there is no way to pay for them at the moment. Before accepting the promised payment from Velcom, it is worth clarifying the conditions of this action and the possible consequences.

Alternative options

Payment upon delivery from Velcom

Pay-as-you-go is essentially an alternative to promised payment. Its essence is that the subscriber has the opportunity to use the operator’s services (make calls, send messages, use the Internet) now, and pay for them later. In this case, the balance may be negative. The only thing is that payment for the services provided must be made before the 12th of the next month.

Payment registration

The operator Velcom Belarus has one.
This option is suitable for cases when a person has deposited funds into the account, but for some reason they take a long time to arrive. At the same time, he urgently needs to use mobile communication services. In such a situation, you can significantly speed up the process of transferring funds to the Velcom balance sheet. To do this, you will need to use not the Promised Payment, but the Payment Registration function, which turns out to be useful when receiving funds takes a long time. Essentially, a person will inform the Welkom operator that he has deposited money into the account and wants to receive a certain amount immediately. Immediately after the request, funds allocated personally by the operator will be transferred to the balance. Thanks to this, you will be able to immediately make a call or use other Welkom options. In this case, the amount that has not arrived on the phone for a long time will be transferred to the operator immediately after receipt. That is, a person will not be able to manage it; instead, he will use the money issued by the Welk operator. Important! Not all subscribers can use the service. Payment registration is available only to verified users who have been using Velcom services for at least 3 months.

In order to use the service you will have to dial the USSD code. After this, you will have to go through a simple procedure to instantly receive funds on the balance itself. It is recommended to follow the instructions so that you can make your request without unnecessary difficulties.

Procedure:

  1. You will need to dial the following combination from your mobile phone: *141*1#. Next you need to press the call button.
  2. You will have access to the Welkom operator menu, through which you can receive the required amount to your account. On the screen you will need to enter the date of replenishment: day, month and year. In this case, do not use separators between numbers. The number might look like this: 12062018.
  3. Next, a request will appear on the screen about how much amount was transferred to the Velcom account, but was not received on the phone. You only need to write the number in Belarusian rubles.
  4. Now you will need to clarify the service that was used to top up your account. This completes the procedure. The Velcom system will process the request and send money to the phone balance in the specified amount. Of course, this is not a Promised Payment, because the person is spending his own funds, which he has already managed to transfer to his balance. The money will immediately be credited to your account and can be used for cellular services.

The Payment Registration function is provided free of charge, unlike the Promised Payment, so you do not have to pay additional funds. If the subscriber provided false data in order to receive money from the operator into the account, then the service will be blocked. Consequently, Velcom does not allow you to take the Promised Payment in any case and is strict about deception. Registration of payment is suitable only for those people who have already replenished their balance, but the funds were delayed for unknown reasons.
