Description
The presented option is divided into several options. The user can connect 200-1000 additional minutes for a whole month, or until the period when the package in the main tariff plan is updated. The service provides the following features:
- The price for the package will be charged after activation. The subscription payment will be charged monthly, and additional minutes will be added to those available in the tariff. The service requires self-disabling.
- Are there any unused calls left in the connected TP? When an additional package is activated, minutes will be spent from it, and only then from the tariff.
- If you have not spent the package before the month, then they will not be carried over to the next one.
- The coverage area covers the whole of Russia.
200 minutes
The additional package of 200 MTS minutes is the smallest offer. You can connect for 150 rubles.
400 minutes
The second offer provides 400 minutes for calls. The cost of the package is only 250 rubles.
700 minutes
Subscribers can connect a more impressive volume – 700 min. This number of conversations will allow you not to worry about the package running out. The offer price is 450 rubles.
1000 minutes
Connect the maximum package of calls in the form of 1000 minutes. The subscription payment will be 600 rubles.
How to activate the “Additional package of minutes” on MTS
Use one of the following services:
- USSD menu. Open the dial window. Enter *111*2050#. A text menu will appear. Please reply with the number that marks the package you are interested in. Wait for a message with information about the service and payment rules.
- Application or self-service account. Download “My MTS” from the application store of your device or log in to the Personal Account website. Find the package in the list of available ones (Manage services > All connected and available > Connect new). Read the terms and conditions and click “Connect”.
Within a few minutes after submitting and approving the application, funds for the service will be debited. Next month it will be written off on the same date, but at the beginning of the day (at approximately 00:00:01).
Disadvantages of the tariff
Every proposal has its downsides. On the Tariff plan, the main disadvantages are:
- The subscriber will not be able to share his traffic with other users. The usual methods of distributing the Internet via Bluetooth, Wi-Fi or USB point will not work if you are connected to the tariff in question.
- When using file-sharing networks, the connection speed will be reduced to 128 Kbps . Internet speed limits can also be caused by network congestion.
- Balances on packages of minutes and messages cannot be used in the next billing period. This means that all unspent calls and SMS will expire at the end of that month.
- As part of the “Unified Internet” option, provided that you are its initiator, the amount of traffic available for distribution will be limited to 10 GB for the entire billing period.
Terms of provision and payment
valid throughout Russia. On some tariffs, when using a tariff outside your home region, the payment will be 15 rubles / day.
When traveling to the Crimea peninsula, the service may be valid if the appropriate option is activated.
The cost of the service is fixed, does not depend on the number of minutes spent, the remainder is burned.
Payment for the package occurs one-time, on the day of its activation. It will be written off for any balance except negative. It is recommended to top it up in advance to avoid blocking the number on the day of debiting. Funds will be withdrawn from the account the next day after the number is unblocked.
The price of the service will not be debited from the balance only if the number has been blocked for more than a month.
Service “Package 100 minutes free”
A package of 100 minutes is a service with a small subscription fee, within which the user is given this amount of time every day to communicate within the network throughout Russia. Tariffing does not apply to these calls.
Note! The service itself has different names; there are several options with a similar operating principle:
- Call for free;
- Call for free for the “Your Country” tariff;
- Zero on MTS.
Although the conditions of the option are approximately the same, the services are designed for different tariffs. If the client cannot figure out which one he should connect, he needs to use the help of a hotline operator.
Reference! Below in the article the conditions for the “Zero on MTS” and “Call for free” options will be given. The option for the “Your Country” tariff has been included in the main functions of the tariff plan since 2014, and its cost is already included in the subscription fee.
The “Call for Free” option is designed for:

The “Zero on MTS” service is available for the entire “Super Zero” and “Super MTS” line.
Possibility of use
Additional minutes are compatible with all standard TP terms. The exception is promotions when a 100% discount on calls is provided when you top up your account with a certain amount.
Every day, the client gets the opportunity to communicate within the network for free in the region and throughout Russia. At the same time, 100 minutes are provided for each direction (home region and intercity). This service also applies to calls to landlines from MTS.
Reference! If a client calls within the network, but the subscriber has set forwarding to the phone of another mobile operator, he will not be able to get a discount for communication. First of all, traffic is consumed according to the basic conditions of the tariff, only after that communication under the option with an additional package comes into effect.

There are 2 main ways to connect free minutes to MTS:
- in your personal account;
- using USSD command.
The request will differ depending on the specific service. “Call for free” is launched using the code *111*868#, and the “Zero to MTS” option is launched using the command *899# or *111*899#. Also for the second service, connection is available via SMS request to number 111 with the text 899.
Cost and connection methods
The description of the service states that connecting 100 free minutes will cost the client 3.5 rubles. The same amount will be debited for each day of use. However, they actually add the option for free, since this money goes towards paying for the first day.
Since you may need to add free minutes to MTS for a short time, there are ways to forcefully disable the option. You can do this:

- by command *111*868# with further step-by-step selection or by SMS with the text 8680 to number 111 (for the “Call for Free” service);

I connected the tariff and while I was at home I couldn’t get enough of it.
I changed my old “Super MTS” tariff to “Tariffische” and am happy as an elephant. Internet without restrictions, many minutes for free calls. I have a minimum package connected and this is enough for me for the whole month. I often call to another region and have already noticed how much money I save with this plan.
I have been using MTS services for many years and Tariffishche is the best the company could come up with. You can surf the Internet around the clock, there are also enough calls. The only thing I don’t understand is why there are so many free messages. No one has been texting for a long time. Everyone uses instant messengers. I haven’t traveled to another city yet, I don’t know how it will work in roaming.
Connection
You can connect an additional 200 minutes using several methods to choose from, the main thing is that the tariff plan is suitable. The MTS operator offers the following activation options:
- Service request *111*2050*1# and make a call. This method is the simplest, fastest and free. You don’t need to use the Internet or call company employees.
- Personal account or mobile application “My MTS”. First you need to register in the system and go through the authorization procedure. Next, go to the services section, find the option and click the connect button.
- If difficulties arise, the subscriber can dial the support service at 0890 and make an independent connection using an automatic informant. By phone you can call an operator who will remotely activate the package for 200 minutes, but you need to give him your passport details.
- Go to the MTS salon in your city. The office staff will enable the service themselves and explain the basic rules and conditions.
After connecting, subscribers are notified of the successful completion of the procedure via an incoming message.
How is the tariff fee charged?
In the first billing period, upon initial connection, the subscription fee will not be charged in full, but in parts. So half of the amount will be written off upon activation of the plan, and the second part only after 2 weeks. In all subsequent months, the payment will be debited from the balance in full on the day corresponding to the day of joining the offer. The subscription amount will be withdrawn from the account both if there is money on the phone and if there is no money. In the latter case, the subscriber's SIM card will go into minus.
Is it really that important?
Yes. If you are in a place where it is difficult to receive signals from a cellular network base station, for example, in a basement or subway, but you still have access to a Wi-Fi network, MTS Connect will allow you to stay connected. That is, even if your phone is not connected to the cellular network at all, you retain the ability to make calls from your number and receive calls to it.

The monthly amount does not include messages that may be sent abroad. For SMS to another country you will have to pay 8 rubles. MMS messages to Russia will cost 9.9 rubles.
Personal opinion
In some regions, the service may indeed be in demand, but there are several conditions for this: the subscription fee for the service should not be higher than the more favorable tariff, the subscriber consistently spends the main package of minutes.

In general, the service is questionable in its benefits. It would be great if it could be connected to any tariffs, for example, those without a monthly fee. A package of minutes – and nothing extra, but, alas, this is impossible.
