The option will help you simplify the payment process and reduce costs, use various Internet traffic packages from MTS, sharing it with friends. The option has good reviews.

Service overview

Before answering our readers’ questions and talking about how to connect to the Unified Internet (MTS), it is worth giving a brief overview of this service. The main idea of the service in question from one of the largest and most popular operators is the ability to access the Global Network simultaneously from several mobile gadgets under the same conditions. Thus, one client of a red-and-white communication service provider can add several of his gadgets to the so-called group - among them, for example, there may be: a smartphone, a computer (including a laptop), a tablet PC, and without thinking about each once again about the need to top up the balance of each of these devices. You can also include other subscribers in the group, allowing them to surf online at “their own” expense (more on this below).

"Unified Internet" MTS - changes in 2021

At the moment, this tariff plan has been suspended. On April 3, the company's management announced that this service works exclusively for those users who managed to connect earlier. Groups of subscribers have been renamed to participants; even after someone leaves, you will not be able to add new ones. However, MTS does not leave customers in a difficult situation.

The name of the service has changed, now the operator offers a “General Package” - an offer when minutes, SMS and Internet can be successfully divided between subscribers. You can read its description on the official website.

Who can benefit from unified access to the Internet?

  • Friends: by sharing the Internet, you can provide your friend with access to the Global Network, helping him out in a difficult situation.
  • For family members: in order not to have to think every month about whether your relatives have access to the Internet or whether money has been credited to their balance, you just need to add them to one group and take on all payment expenses.
  • Colleagues: if you need to use the Internet for work-related matters, you can “snap up” and pay for access at a favorable price.

Description

is a unique opportunity provided to MTS subscribers, allowing shared access from several devices (no more than six) within one package. You can take advantage of the offer within your home region, provided that your tariff plan supports . The initiator (transmitting traffic to other devices) can be subscribers of tariffs and lines:

  • Smart (except Smart mini);
  • ULTRA;
  • Internet Mini;
  • Internet Maxi;
  • Internet Super;
  • Internet VIP.

Members of the community are users who have connected to the initiator’s package, and their tariff plan and connected options do not play a role. A necessary condition is one thing: the connected Internet options of the initiator and the participant must not be the same.

The traffic offered by the service package is common to all participants. In total, it can be up to 50 GB per month. Within the “Unlimited” tariff package - up to 10 GB. Traffic is supplied to each device at 100 MB. The initiator has the right to control the supply of MB volume to each of the participants and set a limit.

To avoid activating additional packages, the initiator must set restrictions for all community subscribers, not exceeding the main limit in total.

You can use this offer on all devices: smartphones, iPads, tablets and modems.

Conditions of the united community:

  • the initiator can create only one group, and cannot be a member of other groups;
  • a member cannot create his own group.

If the initiator's account is blocked, the service is not provided to all subscribers.

What do you need to remember when connecting to the unified Internet?

How to connect MTS “Unified Internet” and not regret it later? Subscribers who are thinking about whether to start using this service are advised to familiarize themselves in as much detail as possible with all the nuances of using the service and notify their family and friends with whom they plan to share access to online services about them. This article will outline the terms of service that are worth paying attention to. Such nuances include the fact that you can connect MTS to your Internet package and thereby share traffic only with those subscribers of your network who are in the same home region. Thus, a resident of the capital will not be able to add his relative from Nizhny Tagil to the unified Internet group.

MTS "Unified Internet": how to connect?

Activation of the subscriber service can be done by creating a group and adding the required number of numbers to it. You can do this in two ways:

  • on the official service portal - this will require Internet access;
  • through short requests sent from the cell phone of a subscriber who plans to distribute megabytes - in this case, a connection to the Global Network is not required.

You can connect to “Unified Internet” (MTS) from your phone via a USSD request: *111*750#.

In general, the procedure for connecting to the service is as follows:

  1. Sending a request (or rather an invitation to another subscriber or number if you plan to connect your second number) via the Internet or via SMS.
  2. Confirmation or rejection of the received invitation. You can also do this by following the link to the service’s website or sending the number 1 (if you agree) to the service’s service number (5340).

If the sent request was accepted by another number(s), each group member, including the initiator (i.e. the subscriber from whose device the traffic will be distributed), will receive a text message with a corresponding notification. Moreover, if the subscriber mistakenly gave his consent to join the group, then he can leave it at any time - how this can be done will be described later in the current article.

Create a group

In order to create a group, you need to connect MTS on one of your devices. Log in to your personal account on the website. From the “ My Group ” menu, you can send invitations to future participants.

The second method is to send an SMS to number 5340 with the text: 1 (space) phone number of the future group member.

The recipient of the invitation will receive an SMS. There are two ways to confirm participation:

  1. On the site;
  2. By replying to the received SMS message with the text 1. It is free both in your home region and in roaming.

Within a minute, the creator of the group and the invited member will receive a confirmation SMS.

As soon as the message is sent, Internet access on the invited device is suspended. If the invitation is not accepted after 15 minutes, Internet access will resume. After this period, it becomes impossible to confirm participation. To try again, the group creator needs to send a second invitation to this gadget.

How to disable “Unified Internet” on MTS?

Let's consider two cases of service refusal: the initiator and the subscriber included in the group.

In the first situation, when the creator of the community decides to stop paying for the Internet for other subscribers or his numbers, deactivation of the service means the dissolution of the group. Thus, other subscribers will no longer be able to use the unified Internet service. Payment for the connection will be made to them in accordance with the tariffs/options established on the number.

In order to delete groups and stop distributing the Internet, you will have to remove all numbers included in it from the list. This can be done quite simply: a message with the text “0_*” should be sent to the service short number, where _ is a space. A similar operation can be performed in the web interface on the official website of the service. A corresponding notification will be sent about the successful closure of the group.

How to disable the “Unified Internet” on MTS for a group member? To do this, use one of the options below:

  • execute the command to leave the group on the United Internet service website;
  • send a message to the service’s short service number, indicating “0” in the text.

If difficulties arise when disconnecting the service, subscribers of the red-and-white operator can contact the consultation line - specialists will help solve the problem. In this case, MTS technical support will not be able to remove a specific number from the group - for this it is necessary that the subscriber himself perform the deactivation action.

Rates

For the Unified internet MTS service, only the initiator pays the fee. He must be a subscriber to one of the tariff plans:

  • Smart;
  • Smart+
  • Smart Nonstop;
  • Smart Top;
  • Ultra;
  • Internet-Mini;
  • Internet-Maxi;
  • Internet-Vip.

If the tariff is changed, the option will be disabled automatically. In the future, you can only connect it yourself. After reconnecting, each existing group member will also connect to the option, and the terms of use will remain unchanged.

Benefits of using the service

  • The ability to use a single Internet on any devices: these can be either gadgets of a specific subscriber, or smartphones, tablets or PCs of other MTS SIM card holders. There can be up to six numbers in a group. At the same time, subscribers should not be located in adjacent rooms or houses.
  • Regardless of how many users the Internet is divided into, the data transfer speed of group members is always stable and high (the maximum allowable in a particular region).
  • Favorable price: the cost will pleasantly surprise you - for each device (subscriber number) added to the group, not counting the initiator, you will need to pay 100 rubles per month. For example, for a group consisting of 4 devices (numbers), you will need to pay a fee of 300 rubles per month.
  • There is no need to top up the balance of each group member individually - funds need to be deposited only to the balance of the group initiator.

Benefits of the service

Users often ask the question: at what MTS tariffs can they share the Internet? The Unified internet MTS service provides this opportunity and has a number of advantages:

  • Favorable price. The price of the package is lower than the monthly fee for regular Internet use. Many tariffs do not provide the ability to connect multiple devices. The savings from using this package are quite significant and tangible.
  • It's comfortable. Maintaining control over one tariff is much more convenient than calculating expenses separately. Tariff plans on connected gadgets will not change, so subscribers do not need to transfer anything.
  • Simple and easy to operate. Distribution of the Unified internet MTS is regulated between each group member from one personal account.
  • The option is a kind of unique opportunity to use the Internet at a wholesale price. You can distribute the network to subscribers who use several gadgets. The service will be the best option for those who do not want to burden themselves with many incomprehensible functions.
  • Equal distribution of traffic, which is very convenient for each subscriber.

The nuances of unified access

  • If the creator of a unified Internet group forgot to transfer the amount required for payment to his mobile account on time, then all participants will be deprived of the opportunity to use the service.
  • In roaming, the Internet within the framework of the service discussed in the current article is provided on the terms of the home region: i.e. If the tariff or option implies the ability to use traffic outside the home region, then a single Internet will be available to all group members. Otherwise, the roaming fee will be debited only from the balance of the group initiator and the service will be suspended.
  • If the established quota is exceeded, you can add a megabyte package in the standard way for MTS subscribers: by connecting turbo buttons. If a community member has spent all the traffic allocated to him, then he has two options: use the turbo button or ask the initiator to increase the amount of traffic allocated to him.
  • The service is available only on some tariff plans, including: “Smart” and “Ultra”. Also, the unified Internet can be connected (create a group) by a subscriber on whose SIM card such options as “Internet Mini/Maxi/Super/VIP” are activated.

Tariff change

When changing the tariff, you do not need to disable the “Unified Internet” on MTS and reconnect to the desired tariff. All current group members will automatically be connected to the new package if it is available on the tariff or option. Current traffic limits remain unchanged and are transferred to the new Internet package. If the established traffic limit is greater than the size of the new Internet package, it automatically becomes equal to it.

In practice, everything is much simpler. You just need to regularly pay the subscription fee and carefully read the MTS website. Then there will be no problems using the “Unified Internet” on MTS.

Where to go if problems arise?

If “Unified Internet” (MTS) does not connect or if you have any difficulties or doubts when using the option, you should contact the customer support line and get answers to your questions. As with other services of the company, the subscriber can quickly and free of charge consult by phone, via the Internet or by visiting a mobile phone salon in person. MTS technical support works around the clock, which means that at any time you can contact the operator’s toll-free number and receive the data necessary to use the services.

Opinions of MTS subscribers about the service

The unified Internet service is quite popular among subscribers of the red-and-white operator. The opinions of subscribers are quite contradictory, and it is impossible to say unequivocally what attitude this service evokes among the majority of SIM card holders.

Among subscribers about the “Unified Internet” (MTS) service, there are both positive and negative reviews: some did not like the terms of the service, while others, on the contrary, are happy that at a favorable price you can use the Internet on several of your gadgets at once, as well as connect family and friends. You can also find reviews from subscribers who are dissatisfied with the presence of features of the service, which they were not able to inquire about before connecting to the service. Thus, it should be emphasized once again that the terms and conditions of the service should be studied as much as possible.

Unified internet MTS: description

The single Internet option is in demand and popular among Russian residents. The service assumes that the subscriber can distribute the Internet to several mobile devices or, if necessary, divide the traffic for several friends or relatives. The option is popular in families where parents and children can use MTS Internet on several devices. Setting up the option is quite simple. To do this, you do not need additional paid equipment such as a Wi-Fi antenna. The network can be used on a laptop or tablet, regardless of their distance from each other. The distance between devices does not matter; additional internet can be transferred at standard speed. The main condition for this option is that the devices must be within the coverage area of your home region. Traffic expenses are summed up, and the maximum limit is 5 subscribers or devices. The service provides 50 GB of mobile traffic for 30 days. Exact volumes are associated with already connected tariff plans. For example, if a company’s client already has traffic, it will not disappear, but will be frozen while the new option is in effect.
