On newer versions of modem firmware, such as mine, the terminal will most likely write ERROR.

If you have an E3372h modem with carrier firmware versions 2x.200.07 and higher (except 21.200.07.00.209), then everything is more complicated. The fact is that these firmware versions do not support AT commands, and it is not so easy to unlock the modem. It will have to be flashed.

Step 2: Unlock

Now download DC Unlocker from the official website and run it.

After that, enter the “AT” command in the lower field in order to check the connection with the modem. If the outcome is successful, the following message should appear in the main window:

If everything is “OK”, then this means that we can now control the modem using the so-called service AT commands.

All that remains is to enter the code AT^CARDLOCK=”nck code”, where “nck code” is the value of the same NSK code that was obtained earlier in the Huawei Calculator program.
