"Lots of Internet"
- a new option from MTS, which provides unlimited mobile Internet for your tariff plan for a subscription fee.
Let's consider the parameters of the option using the example of Moscow and the region:
- Subscription fee – 200 rubles per month (from May 24, 2021 – 0 rubles per month)
- Unlimited mobile internet
You can't activate this option on every tariff plan. List of tariffs on which you can activate “Lots of Internet”:
“Smart Zabugorishche”, “Our Smart”, “Smart+”, “Ultra”, “VIP”, “Smart Top”, as well as the non-public tariff plan “Smart for our own”.
Not without a fly in the ointment, as they say. The option has a number of conditions
:
- Option is not intended for modem
- When using file-sharing networks, for example, a torrent tracker, the speed will be reduced to 128 Kbps
- You cannot distribute traffic via Wi-Fi, Bluetooth or USB (from February 12, 2021, you can distribute mobile Internet, but with a traffic limit, more details here)
- When traveling around Russia there is a limit of 500 MB per day. Next comes the speed limit – 128 Kbps
- Unlimited Internet cannot be distributed through the “General Package”. Only the basic Internet package on your tariff will be distributed
- Mobile Internet speed may be limited when there is a high load on the MTS network
- The option is valid throughout Russia, but only in the network of the mobile operator MTS
- When you connect the “Much Internet” option, the “Social networks”, “Web” and “Youtube” options will automatically be disabled if you have them connected and will not be available for connection
- The option fee is debited every month on the day the option is activated.
- If your number has been blocked, the money for the option will be debited after you unblock it. If the option was blocked throughout the entire billing period, then no money will be debited for this period.
The “Lots of Internet” service is the main thing
When you activate this option, unlimited Internet becomes available on many popular tariffs, which previously included a certain Internet quota. It is suitable for those who:
- Constantly uses mobile Internet at home and when traveling;
- At the same time, he doesn’t want to count megabytes and think about what to do when the traffic runs out;
- I am happy to use the current tariff, since I am satisfied with the conditions, but I would not refuse unlimited traffic.
Subscribers of such tariffs as “Smart Zabugorishche”, “Our Smart”, ULTRA, “Smart Top”, “VIP” and the entire “Smart +” line can activate the option and expand their Internet package indefinitely for free. On other tariffs with Internet, the cost of the option will be 200 rubles. per month, in addition to the subscription fee according to the tariff.
How to disable the service?
If the option is no longer relevant for you, you can cancel it at any time. The service can be disabled by the subscriber independently or automatically when switching to a tariff on which it is not available.
To disable it yourself, use:

- Subscriber's personal account

Option “Lots of Internet” - working conditions
After activating the option, the traffic package included in the main tariff will not be consumed unless additional numbers are connected to it within the group or “General package”. You can only share the Internet at the basic rate.
The “Much Internet” option only works for smartphone and tablet users. If you install a SIM card in the modem, it will not work - the modem requires a separate tariff “MTS Connect-4” or “For laptop” with unlimited Internet.
“Personal account” and changing tariffs
How to make unlimited Internet on MTS? It has already been possible to notice that there are different ways to cope with the task. And first you need to study the conditions for providing Internet access. The best way to do this is to use the official MTS website. There, in the “Tariffs and Unlimited” section for the Internet or change the tariff plan as a whole. To do this you need:
- Log in to the site using your name.
- Open “Personal Account” and switch to the “Internet Management” or “Tariff Plan” section.
- Click on the line with the service you would like to connect.
- Click on the “Connect” hyperlink.

Distribution within the “Lots of Internet” option
Many subscribers are interested in sharing the Internet so that they can share the Internet with both a tablet and a laptop.
Initially, the option did not allow this, but in 2021 it became possible to distribute the Internet from a smartphone via Wi-Fi, Bluetooth or a USB cable, but within a limit of 3 GB monthly. If you distribute in excess of the specified amount, 75 rubles will be debited per day. The fee is charged only on days when distributions in excess of 3 GB are carried out.
The calendar day is the current day, from 00.00 to 00.00 of the next day. The 3 GB update, which can be distributed free of charge, occurs on the 1st day of the month, regardless of the date the 200 ruble fee is charged. for the service itself. MTS - description
The description of the option is extremely simple, since this option allows subscribers who connect it to enjoy unlimited Internet access without speed limits.
The service is not provided free of charge; the price for owners of the listed tariffs will be 200 rubles monthly. The first subscription fee is debited at the time of connection, subsequent ones - after a month of connection. People who have activated FIT packages are provided with unlimited access to the World Wide Web free of charge. There is no additional charge for them.
How to activate the MTS “Lots of Internet” option
There are 3 convenient ways:
- In your personal account;
- In the “My MTS” mobile application;
- Via USSD command *111*837*1#.
Since the option is not compatible with all tariffs and services, it is better to connect it in your personal account, where you can determine whether it is in the list of services available for connection.
Please note that the option is not compatible with other services that provide unlimited Internet - “Social networks”, “VNetwork”, “Youtube”, etc. When you select “Much Internet” they are automatically disabled, and if “Much Internet” is available, other options are not available in your personal account. If you want to select them, you should first disable “Much Internet”.
Another condition for connection is the presence on the balance of the amount necessary for debiting (200 rubles).

Description of service
An inexpensive option from MTS, which allows the subscriber to use Internet traffic without restrictions and distribute it to others. MTS offers “Lots of Internet” to owners of current and archived tariff plans. Until May 24, 2021, it could be activated either in your personal account on the operator’s website, or by dialing a special command on your phone. But after May 24, this option is activated itself as soon as the subscriber connects a SIM card with the tariff or switches to it from another tariff plan.
Restrictions
Despite all the attractiveness of the service, it also has certain limitations:
- It will not work on a SIM card that is connected to the modem. If you violate the ban, access to the network will be limited. For modems, the operator recommends purchasing the “For Laptop” or “MTS Connect 4” tariff.
- You cannot download torrents or use the services of other file-sharing resources, otherwise the speed will be reduced to 128 kbps. At this speed, you can only view email or download a small file for hours.
- You can distribute Wi-Fi only in the amount of 3 GB.
In addition, if the network is heavily loaded, the speed may also be reduced.
How it works with other options
Not all options included in the tariff are compatible with this service. Some of them are blocked when the “Much Internet” option becomes active:
- You Tube.
- Online.
- Social media.
Alternative options for unlimited internet
In order not to activate the “Lots of Internet” option, you can immediately switch to an unlimited tariff. The most popular one from MTS is “Tariffishche”. The subscription fee depends on the number of minutes and starts from 650 rubles. per month for a package of 500 minutes, 500 SMS and unlimited Internet.
In addition, there are separate options for unlimited social networks, if you most often use only one resource and you are interested in unlimited in this direction.
- Unlimited access to Youtube will cost 399 rubles. per month, which is more expensive than “Lots of Internet”;
- Network option - unlimited on VKontakte, Instagram, WhatsApp and all messengers, costs 4 rubles. per day on all tariffs, and in the “My Unlimited”, “Smart Zabugorishche” tariffs it is included by default.
- ivi subscription - for those who like to watch movies and TV series, costs 13.3 rubles. per day, there is currently a promotion for the first two months free.
Thus, MTS subscribers have a wide choice of tariffs and options that do not limit the use of the Internet.
You can immediately connect to the “Tariffishche” tariff and customize it for yourself by determining the number of minutes, or you can choose one of the options for unlimited, but “Lots of Internet” remains universal, which is provided on tariffs costing from a thousand rubles per month (excluding discounts) for free. If the service is compatible with your current tariff, it will be the best choice.
How to connect the Internet from MTS on a smartphone
To get started, select the appropriate tariff and connect to it. The current tariff plan without a gigabyte package does not need to be changed - just connect a special option with the required amount of traffic.
If you have problems connecting to the network, it may be due to incorrect settings. Order automatic loading of parameters or enter them yourself.

MTS offers tariffs with different Internet volumes - from complete unlimited to a minimum package of several GB. The price of the tariff plan depends on the combination of parameters. All of them are connected through your personal account or in the “My MTS” application. "Tariffishche"
It includes unlimited internet. It doesn’t matter where the subscriber is located - unlimited works both in the home region and when traveling around Russia. The basic volume of services is 500 minutes and SMS to any numbers. It is given when switching to the tariff. After this, the subscriber can increase the packages himself by choosing from the proposed options (800, 1500 and 3000). The amount of the subscription fee will depend on this. "My Smart"

"Our Smart"
This is a family tariff to which you can connect up to 5 additional numbers. The main number has unlimited internet and cannot be shared with anyone. Tariff "X"
Traffic package – 7 GB. A large list of online services for which there is no limit. These are instant messengers, social networks, music and video resources, popular online games. Settings
All the necessary parameters are included in the phone settings automatically the first time you use the SIM card. But sometimes this does not happen due to a glitch or features of the phone model. If this happens, then order the settings on the MTS website, in the “Help” section. They will come as a configuration message
You can change the parameters manually. For this:
- Find the “Mobile networks” item in your phone settings. Click on it. The path to it may differ in different device models.
- In the new window, find the line “Access points (APN)”.
- Select MTS profile. A section for changing settings will open.
- If the profile you need is not in the list, click on the “+” button to create a new one.
You only need to fill in these lines:

- Login and password are the same - mts
- APN – internet.mts.ru
All other parameters should be left unchanged.
