The operator has developed special tariff plans for using the Internet from tablets, laptops and smart devices. For a detailed description of all available connections, read below:

For tablet

The contract is great for connecting to the network from a tablet. When activated, 10 GB of traffic is provided (further, traffic packages are credited at the beginning of each payment period). In addition, you are given the opportunity to choose one additional subscription from the following list: unlimited Youtube, free mobile TV, unlimited access to social networks or free video calls.

Contract Description:

• switching to a tariff is free (150 rubles are debited from subscribers who changed their contract within 30 days);

MTS Connect-4

The tariff is intended for modems and routers. You can connect the following Internet options on it: Mini, Maxi and Vip. By default, the contract has the “Internet Mini” option, which provides 8 GB of traffic for 400 rubles/month.

Description of conditions:

• the cost of purchasing a tariff in a store is 420 rubles;
• subscription fee - depends on the selected option (default - 400 rubles);
• calls in your home region - 3 rubles. to any cell numbers and 5 rubles. to landline phones;
• long-distance communication – 5 rubles. on MTS, 12 rub. to other numbers;
• SMS – 1.15 rub. at home, 3.8 rub. to other regions, 5.25 rub. to international numbers;
• the cost of traffic without the option is 3 rubles. per MB.

Smart device

A unique tariff plan, suitable only for smart devices. For example, it can be used to control Smart watches, install and monitor alarms, as well as in the Smart Home program. When connecting to the selected contract, the following services are provided:

• traffic in the amount of 200 MB;
• package for making calls for 30 minutes;
• package with free messages, in which 100 items are available.

Tariff description:

• the cost of purchasing in the store will be 800 rubles (this price includes an annual service fee);
• subscription fee for the first year – 790 rubles. (starting from the 13th month – 90 rubles/month);
• calls over the available limit - 2 rubles. to the numbers of your operator in Russia, 3 rubles. to numbers of other home operators and 5.5 rubles. around the country;
• the cost of SMS over the limit is 2 rubles. on MTS, 3.5 rubles. other operators.

After the end of the packages

• Calls to MTS numbers throughout Russia remain free and unlimited;
• Calls to mobile and landline in your home region - 3.00 RUB/minute;
• SMS to any mobile phone in your home region - RUB 3.00/message;
• An additional 1 GB package is automatically connected. Internet for 150 ₽. Maximum 15 packages per month. To disable auto-connection of Internet packages, dial the USSD command from your phone *111*936#.

How to set up a tariff plan

Immediately after connecting, you can change the settings in your MTS personal account or mobile application - “My MTS”.

The advantage of the tariff is its flexibility throughout the month. After connection, the cost of the default settings will be written off, if the tariff changes downward, the changes will be applied only from the next billing period (exactly one month after connection), if the tariff units are changed upward, the additional fee will be written off and recalculated immediately.

It is optimal to set the minimum tariff values ​​at the beginning of the month and, if there are not enough limits, change them on the fly, so you can save money.

Not included in packages and costs extra

How is the cost formed?

Internet cost

Let's first talk about the cost of the Internet. With the first increase in traffic volume (from 10 GB to 15 GB), the cost increases by 25 rubles. With the second increase (from 15 GB to 20 GB), the cost increases by 95 rubles. Although in the first or second case you only add 5 GB.

Cost of calls and SMS

The situation is the same with calls and messages. The increase is 200 calls and 200 SMS also in two stages - 200, 400 and 600 calls and SMS. But the cost first increases by 25 rubles, and then by 55 rubles.

That is, we can conclude that the most profitable option will be the average value, both when setting up the Internet and when setting up a package of calls and SMS. But if you need more traffic and more minutes for communication, then, of course, you can set the maximum. We just expressed our opinion on the optimal option.

Pros and cons of the MTS “My Smart” tariff

pros

• You can “distribute” the Internet from your smartphone!
• Free calls to MTS subscribers throughout Russia.
• You can change the package volumes at least daily (but take into account the nuances that I wrote in the information on connecting to the tariff just below).
• Holders of MTS Smart Money cards receive a 100% discount on the subscription fee if one of the conditions is met: the amount of purchases on the card per month is more than 20,000 ₽ or the balance on the card is more than 70,000 ₽.

Minuses

• Unlimited MTS calls within Russia are cool, of course, but these calls consume the package of minutes. A little mean.
• The minutes of calls and SMS included in the package are valid only in your home region; all calls and SMS to other regions, except calls to MTS, are paid!
• Unused minutes, SMS and traffic are not carried over to the next month.
• When you connect/switch to a tariff, a “bunch” of additional options are activated, in particular: GoodOk, someone called you! etc. Be sure to disable services you don’t need through your personal account if you don’t want unnecessary “writing off” of money from your account.
• If you insert a SIM card with the “My Smart” tariff into the modem, Internet access will be blocked.
• The volume of minutes is equal to the volume of sms. If I call a lot and text a little and want to choose 600 minutes and 100 SMS? There is no such option and I have to pay for services I don’t need.

MTS is working on this issue and with this line is very close to the answer. The entire MTS offers you to pay once and not worry about the word at all.

Have you calculated how much you spend on payment:

Let's do the math: In total, it can cost you up to 1,200 rubles per month with inexpensive home Internet, a small number of digital channels, and normal communication use.

Eventually

Once again they are trying to force subscribers to pay more for fewer services. Eg:

• The cheapest package “My Smart” is 200 minutes and SMS and 10 GB. Internet - 500 ₽ per month;
• The cheapest package “My Unlimited” is 300 minutes and SMS and 4 GB. Internet - 480 ₽ per month;

Everything seems to be correct, they reduced the minutes, added internet and the price is almost the same, but on the “My Unlimited” tariff, 300 minutes are valid for calls throughout Russia, and on the “My Smart” tariff - only on calls at home. Do you feel the difference?

Another example: All subscribers on the “My Unlimited” tariff were connected to the popular service for free. This is no longer available on the “My Smart” tariff and this option is already available for a fee of 4 ₽ per day.

As a result, I do not advise those subscribers who use the “My Unlimited” tariff to connect “My Smart”. It will be “stupidly” more expensive. “Sit” on your tariff until MTS starts forcibly transferring everyone.

Choose the amount of traffic for yourself

The first thing that catches your eye when studying the “My Smart” tariff from MTS is a setting that is not on the pages of other MTS tariffs. Namely, in this case we are talking about setting the number of GB. You can choose the amount of traffic you need for a month from three options: 10 GB, 15 GB or 20 GB of Internet.

When connecting or switching to the “default” tariff, a “package” of 400 minutes and SMS and 15 GB is activated. Internet and a subscription fee of 550 ₽ (Moscow and Moscow Region) will be waived in full! You cannot connect another package.

Super MTS

The tariff plan is suitable for intranet communication and conversations within the home territory. For the first 20 minutes of the day, calls to MTS numbers are free of charge. In total, for 24 hours the subscriber receives 100 free minutes on MTS throughout the country. The service has a subscription fee of 2.5 rubles/day. The connection command is *111*868#.

Connections in your home region to other networks cost 1.5 rubles/min., intercity connections 12 rubles/min.

On the SIM card, along with connecting to the tariff, “Sms Smart” is activated and is valid for free during the promotional period, which is 15 days. The service provides 10 messages per day, which can only be sent within a household. After 2 weeks, the option either turns off (if the client sent 3 or less SMS during the grace period), or continues to operate, but for a daily payment of 2.5 rubles.

The cost of messages to home numbers is 1.75 rubles, within the country – 2.3 rubles, abroad – 5.25 rubles.

Internet is provided as part of the additional “MiniBit” function. If the user has consumed up to 3 MB of traffic per month, then access to the network is not charged. If this quota is exceeded, it is connected with a daily payment. Without options, traffic costs 9.9 rubles/MB.

To communicate with subscribers in international directions, the operator offers a “Guest” plan. It allows you to save on communications if the user often makes calls to Asian and CIS countries. For 1 second of a call you need to pay only 5 kopecks. This cost applies to all numbers in the home territory, regardless of the operator.

Communication with MTS subscribers living in another city or region will cost 5 rubles per minute. To the numbers of other subscribers, the cost of a call will be 12 rubles.

Correspondence with local residents costs 1.75 rubles/sms. To send a message outside your home you need to pay 2.3 rubles, abroad – 5.25 rubles/piece.

As part of the “SMS Smart” package, which is automatically activated, the client can send 10 messages per day without additional payment. The first 2 weeks the service is free, then for 2.5 rubles/day.

Internet in the absence of support services costs 9.9 rubles. for 1 MB of traffic. To save money, all clients are given the “MiniBit” option when activating the plan. In order to activate the Smart tariff, the following basic conditions must be met:

• The future subscriber must be over eighteen years of age.
• It is necessary to check whether the package of options is valid in a particular region, since Smart in many Russian cities has been transferred to the status of archived tariffs.
• Contact the MTS office to receive a new SIM card or transfer to a new tariff if the subscriber is already a client of this telecom operator.
• If the transition to the Smart tariff is carried out while maintaining the number of another operator, you must pay off the debt on your personal account and pay for the procedure for changing the number in the amount of 100 rubles.

The cost of obtaining a SIM card for new or existing MTS users is free. Fees are charged only when switching to another operator's number or when changing tariff plans too often. But future users of the Smart tariff should take into account that the operator will require an advance payment in the amount of the monthly cost of the tariff to activate the SIM card.

If the Internet on MTS has ended

The end of the month is far away, but the traffic has already been exhausted? In this case, additional Internet packages will be automatically connected to the subscriber. For the “My Smart” tariff, the traffic volume will be 1 GB . The cost of the package is 150 rubles . Only 15 such packages are activated per month, provided that the previous one is exhausted.
