However, for the last couple of years we have been waiting for roaming to be turned off and a common roaming-free space to be created throughout the Russian Federation. And not so long ago, inspired by the example of its competitors, MTS took a step towards meeting the expectations of subscribers. “United Country MTS” is a service of a cellular company that helps its subscribers who leave their home region communicate as freely as at home.
Description
Previously, the MTS operator offered users a similar option for comfortable roaming “United Country”, but since 2021 it has become archived (it is impossible to connect it, only deactivate it). The new version can only be tested by subscribers with the “Exclusive” and “ULTRA 2011” tariff plans.
Calls in roaming are included in the packages of minutes provided for these tariffs. If you need to make a call beyond the established limit, then each connection with this option will cost 3.5 rubles per minute.
Also, for outgoing long-distance calls you will have to pay 3.5 rubles, including in the area where you are on the trip.
If the subscriber has several travel options active, for example, “Everywhere is like home” and “One country. Russia", then tariffing is carried out according to the conditions of the last option.
Restrictions
The conditions for making outgoing telephone calls are determined by which tariff plan is established by the contract between Mobile Telesystems PJSC and the client’s company, and is connected to the SIM card on which the service is installed:
- “Corporate exclusive” - 3000 minutes for all calls within the MTS network in Russia, as well as for conversations with Moscow and the region, regardless of the called subscriber’s network;
- Smartphones included in the “All inclusive” package. Moscow Region”, when used together with the function, allows you to spend the volume of minutes provided by the package, without additional expenses, when you are in other regions.
The activated service is valid for the subscriber when he is outside of Moscow and the region in any region of Russia where Mobile Telesystems PJSC has coverage, and ceases to be valid when returning to the home network.
How to disable archived
If you no longer find this feature useful or want to try out a new version, you can cancel the service in several ways.
Via standard USSD command
We dial the command on the phone: *111*808#, press the call button. The request is automatically processed, and after deactivation the user receives a notification about the status of the operation.
With a short command
We dial *808# on the keyboard and press the call button. The operation is also performed automatically.
In your personal account
- Log in to the system.
- Go to the tab with.
- There we find the desired option in the list; if you can’t find it in the general list, you can sort the options by name or connection date.
- Expand detailed information or click on the cross.
- A new window appears, click on the “Disable” button.
Service cost
A subscriber who is thinking about how to activate the interesting United Country service on MTS should take into account that there is no subscription fee for the option. Even if a person took advantage of the offer before roaming within the Russian Federation was canceled, money will still not be debited from his personal account.
According to the information provided on the official MTS website, the cost of connecting the option is 0 rubles. The same applies to the size of the subscription fee.

- Don't worry if the service still works on your tariff plan. There is no serious need to turn it off.
How to connect the current version of “United Country” to MTS. Russia"?

How to disable this function from MTS?
If this option seems inconvenient or irrelevant to you, then it can be easily deactivated in several ways.
In your personal account
- Log in to the site.
- Go to the same tab with options, select the line “All connected services”.
- Find “Unified Country” in the list, click on the cross or expand the detailed information.
- Click “Disable”. After 2-3 minutes you will receive a notification about a successful operation on your phone.
Through the team
We dial the same combination as for activation: *111*151# and press the call button.

Based on all of the above, it is not difficult to draw a conclusion about who would benefit from this option:

In general, it received a lot of positive reviews on various resources. Among the positive qualities noted:

Shutdown
To deactivate this tariff, you must use the same algorithm as when connecting: USSD code *808# or 111*808#, as well as your MTS Personal Account.
If you may need mobile Internet while roaming, it is recommended to select a tariff with Internet in advance. "One Country" does not have an Internet option.
“One Country” is activated as soon as the subscriber leaves the borders of his home region. There is no charge for incoming calls; outgoing calls cost RUB 8.90. per minute of conversation. One of the main advantages of this option is that there is no need to constantly turn it on and off.
The MTS single country option differs from the offers of competing operators Beeline or Megafon. Their subscribers must pay a fixed cost for connecting to the service, as well as a daily subscription fee.
