Life Control is a system of “smart devices” for monitoring the situation in the home. By connecting a set of sensors, the owner can receive data:

Some system components provide control of energy consumption (smart light bulb, socket). Additional devices released as part of the Smart Home are created for personal use. These are trackers for tracking activity and location.
In 2021, the system was founded by the Megafon operator to monitor the condition in the house. When purchasing a set of devices, the user can manage their home through the application or on the Life Control website. As a result, he receives notifications about unauthorized opening of locks or other security events that have occurred (smoke sensor, motion sensor, leakage).
The complex allows you to view your own home in real time through a camera. You can use smart sockets and light bulbs that turn on/off at the owner’s command. And also keep track of pets using a GPS tracker.
Description
“Smart Home” is divided into two categories, each of them differs in functionality and equipment:
- “Apartment” - the system allows you to control the water supply and detect leaks.
- “Dacha” - the device is equipped with a smoke detector.
All sets include an MTS-070 camera, which sends information about the condition of the home directly to a smartphone. The video surveillance package includes motion and temperature sensors, as well as infrared illumination. The device can operate in 2 states: emergency and passive. You will have to configure the sensors separately.
The system is controlled using SMS and MMS commands. A multimedia message is sent to your phone to view the image. To change the settings you need to use an SMS request.
Set of equipment for Smart Home from MTS
To connect the presented solution from the operator, you must own specific equipment. A simple set of equipment consists of the following:
- A video camera with a sensor that tracks movements.
- A sensor that monitors the opening of doors and windows.
- Sensor that controls gas.
There are also other configurations, for example, an alternative version contains a special device that detects smoke. It is provided in exchange for a sensor responsible for gas leaks.
To manage all installed equipment in the house, the MTS operator company offers to download the application. You can also exercise control via SMS commands. At the time of normal functioning of home appliances, subscribers receive notifications with detailed reports and mms, which show pictures from video cameras.
In the package you will find documents and instructions where all functions will be described in detail. Users will have access to an archive of camera images and the ability to submit a request for verification. If security equipment has been turned off due to an electrical problem, an alert will be sent to your phone.
You cannot disable a tariff by switching to another one. To deactivate, you will have to contact the operator's department.
Call costs
Despite the fact that this tariff is intended mainly for receiving and transmitting data via satellite communications, MTS subscribers who have activated the package have the opportunity to call home operator numbers in other directions. The MTS Smart Home tariff provides for an advance payment system, and to use communication services the subscriber must pay 300 rubles monthly.
However, the function of unlimited calls within the established package of minutes is not provided. For every minute of an outgoing call to MTS network numbers, landlines and other mobile operators in the Moscow region, the subscriber pays 3 rubles.
Outside Moscow and the Moscow region, the cost of outgoing calls increases:
- to MTS phones - 5 rubles per minute;
- to other directions - 14 rubles per minute.
There are standard conditions for calls abroad. For CIS countries, the cost of one minute of conversation is 35 rubles, calls to Europe cost 49 rubles. Other directions are charged at 70 rubles/min. You can call via satellite channels for 290 rubles per minute, and dedicated numbers on the ground will cost 79 rubles per minute of conversation.
