The annual subscription fee is, of course, lower than the weekly one - standard practice. But a one-time payment of 2,500 rubles is interesting. It turns out that you pay once and receive a tariff with packages of minutes, SMS and mobile Internet without a monthly fee.

But here it’s worth doing a little calculation - how much of this money would be enough with a standard subscription fee of 20 rubles per week? In this case, 2500 rubles is enough for almost 2 years and 5 months. If you are sure that you will use this tariff for more than 2.5 years, then “Smart Things Forever” is a good choice, otherwise it is not the best investment for 2.5 thousand rubles. I did not take into account the “Smart things for a year” option, since it is valid only for the first year.

Additional tariff parameters.

Calls to all Russian numbers after the end of the package - 5 rubles per minute.
SMS to all Russian numbers after the end of the package - 3 rubles per message.
Mobile Internet after the end of the package is unlimited with a speed limit of up to 64 Kbps.

If you click on “More details”, the speed limit is indicated as 64 KB/s, but in the detailed parameters after the end of the mobile Internet package, 64 KB/s is already indicated. MTS Go-smart

The first of the potential tariffs for children's watches from MTS is called “ Go-smart.Universal ”. It appeared relatively recently and is also compatible with smartphones, tablets and other equipment with the “smart” prefix.

When connecting “Go-smart.Universal” the subscriber receives:

500 MB of Internet traffic at maximum speed. As soon as the packet ends, the speed will drop to 64 Kbps.
30 minutes of calls to numbers of any operators throughout the country.
100 SMS to any numbers within your home region.

The subscription fee for the tariff is 100 rubles per month; at the end of the billing period, the remaining packages expire. You can sign up for an annual subscription, but there’s not much point in it - the service will cost 1,190 rubles, that is, only 10 rubles less than with regular write-offs for 12 months.

When available packages are exhausted, the following prices apply:

Calls to MTS numbers in your home region cost 2 rubles per minute.
Calls to numbers of other operators in your home region cost 3 rubles per minute.
Calls within Russia - 5.5 rubles per minute.
SMS to MTS numbers in your home region - 2 rubles.
SMS to other numbers - 3.5 rubles.

You can connect to this tariff either from an existing SIM card or when purchasing a new one.

This tariff has a special option that will be available if you buy a children's smart watch in one of the MTS branded stores. Then you will be offered a separate option “ Go-smart.For watches ”. It features extended service packages:

300 SMS to any numbers throughout the country.

The first month the tariff will be free, and for each subsequent month you will have to pay 250 rubles , which is very, very expensive.

Does Megafon have special rates for children?

Megafon does not have specially developed tariff plans for use by children. However, each parent can connect, which allows you to check the child’s location, manage settings on his mobile phone, and also limit access to inappropriate sites.

The daily fee is 5 rubles when using one profile. If there are several children in a family connected to a mobile operator, then the daily cost for the next profile will be 1 ruble .

A year of work will cost 750 rubles instead of 1200 rubles - a good saving. Indefinite connection - 2,500 rubles one-time, this option will pay for itself in 3 years, but it’s not a fact that it’s worth it.

The package will cost 200 rubles monthly , definitely not the cheapest choice.
But if you don’t look at the minutes, it turns out to be slightly more profitable than a similar tariff from MTS.

You cannot switch to the “Smart Things” tariff from other tariffs . To connect to a tariff plan, you need to purchase a SIM card at a mobile phone store, operator’s office or on the megafon.ru website.
