Communications on the territory of Crimea will be received, subscribers can freely make calls and receive SMS. The local operator demonstrates the operation of 3G and 4G in almost all localities, so Tele-2 Internet in Crimea is also available.
Terms and rates
As of 2021, there is no longer national roaming. However, most modern smartphones have the function of adapting to your current location. Therefore, upon arrival in Crimea, roaming, according to the gadget settings, is activated automatically; if desired, the option can be disabled manually.
Tele-2 does not have special tariffs for Crimea, therefore the following tariffs apply to subscribers:
- any incoming calls are free;
- any incoming SMS is free;
- outgoing calls to numbers of any Russian operators - 3 rubles per minute;
- outgoing SMS or mms messages - 3 rubles 1 unit;
- outgoing mms to foreign numbers - 3 rubles each;
- outgoing SMS to foreign numbers - 5.5 rubles each.
The cost of mobile traffic is quite high - 3 rubles per 1 MB and a charging interval of 50 kB. In order not to overpay, you need to select a mobile Internet package designed for Crimea in advance, or disable the option altogether.
Roaming services are provided to all Tele-2 subscribers; no additional connection is required.
Roaming
From June 2021 in accordance with Art. 46 and art. 54 Federal Law “On Communications”, intranet and national roaming on the territory of the Russian Federation has been cancelled. Is there any in Crimea?
In 2021, roaming in Crimea is subject to special conditions , allowing you to significantly save on travel.
Terms of communication
Mobile communication services on the peninsula are provided using the equipment of local operators – “Win mobile” and “Servistelecom”.
How to connect?
Roaming services are provided to all subscribers of the operator. additional connection required . When entering the peninsula, roaming is activated automatically. If this does not happen, you can use manual configuration.
The main feature of the option is that you receive incoming calls for free. For this, the subscriber pays 6 rubles per day. Another 30₽ will be charged for connecting “It’s like home in Crimea” from Tele2. The tariff system is being transformed: lower prices are starting to apply. All you need to do is pay for the service regularly.
The effect applies only to the peninsula. When a subscriber leaves his territory, the subscription fee will continue to be charged, and all benefits will no longer apply.
When the option is disabled, the standard tariff schedule returns. But on the main territory of Russia, incoming calls are already free, so the subscriber does not lose anything.
The option only affects incoming ones, otherwise the prices are unchanged:
Services | Price |
Outgoing calls | 3₽ |
SMS, MMS | 3₽ |
1 MB traffic | 3₽ |
The advantage of this option is its relatively low price. But since it only applies to incoming calls, it does not help seriously save money when traveling to Crimea.
The option is controlled through a code system:
- The fastest way to activate this offer on Tele2 is to dial *143*61#.
- You can check whether it is connected using the combination *143*6#.
- Disabling is done using the code *143*60#.
Activating the service is only advisable if the subscriber regularly receives calls. Otherwise, additional expenses in the form of a subscription fee are pointless.

Feedback from Tele-2 users in Crimea
People are quite critical of the Tele-2 coverage conditions in Crimea. Firstly, cellular communications are expensive, and secondly, the network does not reach everywhere; in small settlements, 3G does not reach at all. In order to stay connected all the time, you have to look for Wi-Fi distribution points or purchase a package from a local operator.
People who need to stay in touch all the time for work or other reasons are not suitable for Tele-2 coverage in Crimea, for obvious reasons.
Tele-2 does not even plan to install its equipment on the peninsula, so subscribers have to endure a number of inconveniences. Most of this operator's clients are not local residents, but tourists. Therefore, before the trip, you need to top up your account with a sufficient amount and order a number of additional options.
Methods for connecting and disconnecting the Tele2 tariff
Activation of additional services is carried out using standard methods. The user is able to carry out the installation independently without leaving home. As a last resort, you can turn to specialists from Tele2 for help.

USSD command
An easier method is to dial the USSD combination. The request is completely free. Let’s look at the table on how to activate and disable Tele2’s “Internet on the Peninsula”:
Parameter name | Internet in Crimea | Easy Internet |
Installing an offer | *143*61# | *143*51# |
Deactivation | *143*60# | *143*50# |
Checking the current status of a function | *143*6# | *143*5# |
After receiving the required result, a confirmation message from Tele2 will be sent to your phone.
If you cannot install or disable the service yourself, ask Tele2 consultants for help. Call technical support number 611 , wait for the manager’s response. Or visit the nearest operator service office in your city. The provider's representative has the right to request your passport information for identification. There is no charge for calling the hotline.
If your internet speed has slowed down
According to established requirements, after consuming 200 megabytes of traffic, the speed limit is limited to the minimum. To extend access at high speed, enter the command *143*53# . After this you will receive another 200 MB. At the time of completing the request, 300 rubles will be debited from the balance for connecting an additional package.
The service for the peninsula will allow the subscriber to enjoy mobile Internet during a vacation or business trip on favorable terms. In this case, money will be debited only on the days you connect to the network.
How to contact the Tele-2 operator from Crimea?
Tele-2 tariff packages are not sold in Crimea; to purchase, you need to look for intermediaries or travel to any nearest city in the Krasnodar Territory. There are the following options for communicating with the operator:
- You can reach the help desk by calling the short number 611;
- for calls from other operators there is a number 8-800-5550-611, in roaming call +7-951-52-00-611.
It is possible to receive online advice in the client’s personal account, where subscribers can check their balance, order account details and cancel subscriptions.
Mobile Internet
In the age of modern technology, people prefer to be online all the time. Calls and SMS are made through instant messengers quite often. In Crimea, Tele-2 communications are quite expensive, so you can connect one of them;
Costs and subscription fees vary.
is connected and disconnected by the user independently; when returning to any other region of the Russian Federation, the option is not automatically disabled. However, the subscription fee is debited only when crossing the territory of Crimea, so when you are already at home, you do not need to worry about accruing commissions. The conditions are as follows:
- per MB of traffic is charged - 2.5 rubles;
- subscription fee is 6 rubles per day;
- connection price is 30 rubles.
The resulting savings from standard conditions are 50 kopecks per megabyte. The subscriber must understand that modern gadgets consume quite a lot of traffic, so the Internet will have to be turned off periodically.
From the point of view of users, the option parameters are considered to be more profitable:
- upon use of the mobile Internet, they charge a subscription fee of 300 rubles per day;
- there is no traffic limit;
- the volume of high-speed Internet provided is 200 MB per day, after exhaustion, high-speed traffic drops to 128 kbit per second;
- You can order another 200 MB of high-speed traffic by dialing * 143*53#.
It is noteworthy that even if the allotted number of megabytes is exhausted, the speed is significantly reduced, but it is enough for online communication in instant messengers.
The service is available for connection through the personal account of a Tele-2 client, or a mobile application. For new subscribers, the option is enabled by default.
Is it possible to save money on communication services in Crimea?
Despite home roaming, calls from Tele-2 in Crimea still remain expensive. For just 30 minutes of conversation, 90 rubles will be charged. It is more rational to use instant messengers; you can make calls and messages, send photos, videos and even text files. Even limiting high-speed traffic will not prevent the subscriber from contacting family and friends.
If we compare in this context, Internet calls in Crimea are much cheaper. Some clients prefer to completely abandon the mobile Internet and communicate online only in accessible Wi-Fi zones, since it is now available in almost all public places.
For some people, it is more profitable to change their mobile operator while traveling. The same Win Mobile has more affordable tariffs with free Internet and low subscription fees. You can make any calls within the Russian Federation from the numbers of this operator.
Top up your account
Topping up your phone account is not difficult and can be done in many different ways, so that any of the company’s clients in Sevastopol can choose the method that suits them. Payment can be made without leaving home, through your personal account or mobile application. You can also link a phone number to a bank card and even set up an auto-payment option, then the account will be replenished automatically provided there are sufficient free funds on the card.
In addition, it is possible to make payments using the most common services that handle electronic money, for example, Qiwi or Elexnet. It is also possible to transfer funds from another phone. You can also top up your account at customer service centers, ATMs and self-service terminals.

How to connect “In Crimea, like at home”?
There are several ways to enable this option . Choose the one that suits you most:
- Send a USSD request from your mobile phone to *143*61# “Call” . This is the easiest option for connecting to the service, because it does not require Internet access or additional devices. Sending a request is free from anywhere, including directly from Crimea . The request is processed in no more than 15 minutes, and is connected if there are enough funds on the balance. In response to the request, you will receive a message about connecting the service, or about the impossibility of doing so (with a reason).
- The connection is made through the “Personal Account” on the operator’s website . You need to register, log in and go to the “Tariffs and in Crimea, like at home” section and set the option to “Connected” mode. This is not the most convenient option for activating the service, because you will need a computer or laptop to access the Internet, which are rarely available in hotels, and even more so in private houses rented for vacation. If you activate the service before leaving home, you will have to pay an extra subscription fee before arrival .
- Another convenient way to connect the option is through the My Tele2 mobile application , which is downloaded and installed for free. To use the application, you must have access to mobile Internet or Wi-Fi. The application itself completely duplicates the “Personal Account”, so it is very easy to use.
- If none of the options are acceptable, or you have problems with activation, dial 611 (toll-free and 24 hours a day). To activate the service, follow the instructions of the answering robot. In addition to connecting yourself, you can contact the Tele2 operator at the same number, who will answer your questions.
If, after activation is completed, you do not receive an SMS notification, then you just need to check the status of the service. Send a request to *143*6# “Call” . The answer will arrive in a matter of seconds.
