How to activate the “Guest” tariff and start taking advantage of the preferential conditions for international calls offered by the MTS operator?

The easiest way to connect is to purchase a new SIM card at a telecom operator’s showroom or office with a ready-made tariff.

If you switch to this tariff with your number from another telecom operator and keep your number, you will have to pay 100 rubles.

How to switch to a tariff with your MTS number? Changing the current tariff to “Guest” is free if the previous tariff plan has been used for more than 1 month, otherwise you will need to pay 150 rubles for the transition, which will be withdrawn from your account immediately after the tariff change. If you already have a number from this operator and you want to change the plan, then switch to “Guest” in one of the following ways:

• Dial the USSD combination *111*741*1# on your device, sending it with the dial button.

• Personally visit the operator’s salon or office and change the tariff with the help of a company consultant.
• By contacting the support service at 0890 (for MTS subscribers) or by number (when calling from another operator’s number)

How to disable the “Guest on MTS” tariff

Since “Guest” does not charge a fee for a month of use, the package will not cease to be active, even if you do not use it for a long time. The main thing is that paid options are not activated. But if you still need to disable “Guest MTS”, you can do this using one of the convenient methods.

1. Deactivate the package in your personal account in the “Tariffs and Services” section.
2. Call the support service of the MTS operator and ask the operator to disconnect by phone number. Technical support number 0890.
3. Disconnect via the MTS mobile application.

It is worth noting that if you stop using the number for some time, with the goal of accessing these services again in the future, after 90 calendar days of non-use, 3 rubles per day will be deducted from the account. But as soon as you show any activity on the number (send a message or make a call), the withdrawal will stop. And so on every 90 days of non-use of the number.

Tariff parameters

The tariff plan includes favorable communication packages for Asia, the CIS countries, as well as the home region itself. The emphasis is on outgoing and incoming calls, as well as SMS messages. You can switch to “Guest MTS” for free only if the subscriber has not changed his previous plan for more than 2 months.

If the previous tariff was changed within 30 days, then switching to the Guest plan will cost 150 rubles. The starter package will cost about 200 rubles. There is no subscription fee, but if the subscriber does not use the tariff services for 90 days, then the daily payment will be 3 rubles.
