If for some reason 550 minutes are used up ahead of time, then all subsequent calls in your region will cost 2 rubles per minute of conversation, 5 rubles for calls to long-distance subscribers and 35-70 rubles per minute of conversation with foreigners.

I looked at several dozen tariff plans, including archived ones - the changes will affect many tariffs, if we take the popular ones, then almost all of them - both current and archived versions. This, perhaps, distinguishes MTS from other operators in terms of price increases: it is insignificant - about 4%, but affects almost all popular tariffs.

In principle, it’s not surprising, all the “Big Four” operators have increased prices. But, of course, there is nothing pleasant about this.

A few weeks ago, in mid-January 2021, official information appeared that MTS was going to make its tariff plans more expensive than ever before at the end of the month. Today, January 30, all this happened because this telecommunications company raised prices for its services on all tariff plans, including those that are now available to all subscribers. The price increase ranged from 5 to 20%, as previously expected, so now you will have to pay much more for many service conditions than before. According to Russian law, a telecom operator is required to notify its customers via SMS ten days in advance about the new terms of service, but nothing of the kind was done in this particular case, judging by the messages from subscribers.
