Description of the My Online+ tariff plan

We should also remind you of such a TP as “My Online+”. What will a subscriber get by activating it on his number for a subscription fee of 799 rubles per month?

This:

  • thirty gigabytes of Internet traffic;
  • unlimited use of instant messengers and social networks;
  • 1500 minutes for calls to any number in the country (mobile and fixed line);
  • unlimited calls to your network numbers (both within your home region and throughout the country);
  • 50 messages to be sent to any number across the country.

Of course, the conditions are quite attractive. However, before switching to TP, you should read the reviews of Tele2 “My Online Plus”.

What's wrong with Tele2?

In addition to Moscow and the region, I checked several more regions where Tele2 announced changes from July 15. Let's look at the parameters of the “My Online+” tariff for the Kirov region.

  • Calls – 600 minutes + unlimited within the network.
  • Internet – 30 GB + unlimited services.
  • Subscription fee – 400 rubles per month.

I didn’t find “My Online_2020” tariffs in the archive - in some regions there were fresh archived tariffs yesterday, but today they have disappeared somewhere. I had to find pages through search engines. And the archived version found something to surprise me: the parameters are the same, but the subscription fee is 500 rubles per month.

What happens? Tele2, having updated its tariffs, reduced the subscription fee by 100 rubles per month? Due to regional politics, this is quite possible, but I decided to check something else, namely, a saved copy of the page in the mail.ru search engine (they update saved copies much less often, so there is always a good chance of finding an old version of the page).

The subscription fee with a 10% discount is 342 rubles per month, that is, without a discount – 380 rubles per month. It turns out that Tele2, having updated the tariff, increased the subscription fee by 20 rubles - up to 400 rubles per month. But why does the archived version show a completely different amount - 500 rubles per month? I believe that this is some kind of error on the site, and it will be fixed soon. But if Tele2 really decided to quietly raise the subscription fee by 120 rubles per month on the archive tariff immediately after its closure, promising not to change the parameters, it will be OH how ugly.

Update

. It turned out that these were “special conditions”. When connecting to a tariff, the subscription fee was 380 rubles per month, and when switching - 500 rubles per month. Advantages of using tariff plans from the operator

It is worth noting two obvious advantages of the Tele2 operator:

  • the ability to use unused gigabytes in the next billing period (in other words, if it was not possible to spend the entire amount of traffic in a month, then it is enough to top up the balance on time, wait for the subscription fee to be charged and continue to use the remaining traffic, receiving a new gigabyte package);
  • the ability to exchange minutes for gigabytes is a new feature that allows the subscriber to independently manage service packages paid under the “My Online” tariff plan “Tele2” (reviews of which will be given below).

“My online” “Tele2” customer reviews: advantages

Among the advantages that we consider in the current article of tariff plans, which were noted by subscribers, the following points can be highlighted:

  • favorable cost - in comparison with the tariffs of the big three operators;
  • the ability to unlimitedly use social networks (traffic for communication on WhatsApp, Viber, VKontakte, Facebook, etc. is not taken into account);
  • the ability to use Internet packages “to the end”;
  • the ability to “transform” the tariff by adding the required number of services (when choosing a tariff plan on the website there is actually such an opportunity) for a certain fee, which will be added to the basic monthly payment for the tariff;
  • exchanging minutes for a certain amount of traffic is especially important, because it is not always possible to “speak out” the entire volume, and gigabytes are always useful on the Internet.

Pros and cons of the Rostelecom “New History” tariff

pros

  • Price. for 220 ₽ per month, the operator provides a very good range of services: if you need more Internet and fewer calls, take “New History Online”; you need a lot of conversations – take the “New History In Conversation” tariff; if you need something in between – take “New History Everywhere". It's great to have a choice.
  • Calls on the Rostelecom network are unlimited and free of charge, including to landline numbers. This is generally “cool”, in our country 90% of “city” numbers are Rostelecom. Killer trick.
  • Transfer of balances.
  • Exchange minutes for GB. (there is no reverse exchange, by the way).
  • Unlimited in messengers and social networks.
  • There are no prohibitions on the distribution of the Internet (although other operators also do not have these prohibitions, except on tariffs with “unlimited”).
  • After the packages of minutes and SMS expire, the operator will not connect you to any additional packages. Everything will be connected only if the subscriber himself wanted it and connected it (but here again there is a “catch”, see cons).
  • 101 channels free for 12 months. Nice addition.
  • Rostelecom, like other virtual operators, does not work with content providers. That is, subscriptions to all sorts of jokes, weather forecasts, etc. you are not threatened.

Minuses

A kind of “star in small print” that I talked about when describing additional packages and in the advantages of the tariff: if you connect yourself to some additional package, and it doesn’t matter for 100, 200 or 500 minutes or SMS, then the operator automatically includes this additional package in your tariff for the next month and, accordingly, charges a much larger subscription fee for this. For example, in some month we bought 200 minutes for 200 ₽

Next month and beyond, the subscription fee for the “New History” tariff will not be 220 rubles, but 220 + 200 = 440 rubles. I didn’t find how to “overcome” this in the tariff description, perhaps you can disable it through your personal account or call support. But keep in mind, this is a huge minus. When the traffic included in the package expires, unlimited services also stop working. This is redneck, in my opinion. Downloading torrents is allowed, but the speed is “cut” to 64 Kbps, so you can’t even dream about downloading large files and movies (although the amount of traffic in the tariff is not for downloading movies, of course). If there is an exchange of minutes for traffic, then why is there no possibility of a reverse exchange? Unclear. RT operates on the Tele2 network. The quality of the Tele2 network is not great, especially considering the already large number of other virtual operators that operate on the same network. Personally, I have bad associations with the Rostelecom brand, a sort of Sberbank and Russian Post in their business. A huge number of complaints from subscribers to whom RT provides Internet access services circulate throughout the network and, for some reason, I believe most of these complaints.

Tariff “My Online” “Tele2” reviews: disadvantages

As with any service, the “My Online” and “My Online+” tariff plans have their own negative nuances – they were noted by subscribers in their reviews:

  • low Internet speed (compared to other operators), the 4G network declared by the operator is rarely represented;
  • poor communication quality, according to clients, this is especially noticeable indoors;
  • traffic on social networks is not completely unlimited - some actions carried out in instant messengers and social networks still consume megabytes from the package;
  • small volume of SMS package for the “My Online+” tariff plan;
  • The transfer of balances is carried out for a short period of time - only for one month, after which they still burn out.

Similar ones can be found for the Tele2 tariff “My Online Plus” reviews. Most subscribers are satisfied with their choice and note that the TP really compares favorably with competitors’ offers. Some clients do not see anything remarkable and note the shortcomings of communication services - data transfer speed and voice quality. At the same time, everyone unanimously notes that the cost of the tariff plan is attractive in comparison with the tariffs of other operators.

Negative reviews about the “My Online” tariff

  1. I am an avid mobile phone user, so I always keep track of all services and know what I'm paying for. But Tele2 tariffs are dangerous for ordinary users who usually do not read the terms and conditions. Tele2 deceives its customers by literally selling them paid services under the guise of free ones. Only for the first month they do not require payment and are truly free. However, after that, funds begin to be withdrawn every day, and no one warns about this.
  2. Recently, Tele2 appears literally everywhere. It has already begun to be called the same large company as the usual MTS, Beeline and Megafon. But I’m not sure that his services are as profitable as marketers position them. For me, this tariff is extremely unprofitable, so I am considering other options. But I don’t deny that it will be perfect for someone and will be beneficial.

Based on the reviews given for the “My Online” tariff plan “Tele2” (Moscow), we can say with confidence that the operator’s recently updated line of tariffs is very popular. Of course, there will always be subscribers who can find negative aspects that may also be present. At the same time, it is impossible not to agree that Tele2 offers the best price/quality ratio, taking into account the preferences of its users. The mere fact that the subscriber himself can exchange unnecessary minutes for gigabytes significantly increases the company’s rating.
