While researching the Megafon website, I discovered a service that my GPS/GLONASS service for monitoring moving objects, LocMe.ru, needs. It's called remote object management. For this service, you can purchase heat-resistant SIM cards, the performance of which is guaranteed for 13 years. That's what I need. Of course, they are more expensive than regular SIM cards, but they are worth it.

And so I became a corporate client and immediately connected an important and necessary one. It is very important for me to control everything. I’m not swimming in money, I’m not used to wasting it, I earn honestly and for my honest money I want to receive honest and high-quality services. As of April 16, 2013, it turned out to be completely inoperable. It didn't work and that's it! I submitted a request to Megafon support about this annoying misunderstanding. Application number - 224252464.

Hoping for a quick solution to the problem, I regularly check the corporate portal. He does not work. After 10 days it didn't work either. I start to worry and call Megafon’s call center (contact center). I ask questions to the operators. Accordingly, the operators cannot answer any questions. They don’t have the information, don’t know what to do, and don’t know how to find out - what to do?..

In the end, I gave up on this portal and went to Europe on May 1 for two weeks. When I returned, I discovered that the corporate portal was working. What is characteristic is that I discovered this myself. And to inform the client, the initiator of the application, that the problem has been resolved is beyond the dignity of the Megafon company. For what? Let the client call the CC, harass the operators, thereby increasing the waiting time for other subscribers. It seems to me that each of you has heard the phrase: “Currently, all operators are busy...” So, friends, I put my efforts into this. I am asking operators stupid questions because the Megafon company did not consider it necessary to inform me either about the expected time frame for resolving the application, or about the decision of the application itself. What can I say, well done! Keep it up!

Alas, friends, this is not the end of the story...

Having discovered that the portal is working, I begin to use the Megafon SIM cards I already have. But you already know that I’m not used to throwing money away, and therefore, to begin with, I’m setting up an experiment. I have prepared two identical devices - two Teltonika FM3200 trackers (I will need to review this device on the LocMe.ru website). I installed a Megafon SIM card in one tracker, and an MTS SIM card in the other. The conditions are the same: 1.5 rubles per 1 MB of traffic, rounded up to 1 KB. Both devices were installed in the same car. The car, in turn, made a trip around Moscow - the route was approximately 47 km.

Next, I check my balance through the same corporate portal and discover that Megafon has a fair appetite. The SIM card of this operator consumed more than 3 rubles!!! I’ll tell you this: I don’t understand under what conditions on a tariff plan with a Megabyte cost of 1.5 rubles, about 001 MB can be charged as 61 kopecks! More than three rubles for not a full day (4 hours), this is approximately 320 rubles per month, provided that there are no other surprises from Megafon. With such costs for operating one tracker, my service will be at a deep loss. Any service will be at a deep loss!!! This is 32 times more than I spend with MTS SIM cards.
