Old versions of the tariff have been archived. In Moscow and the region, the tariff with a minimum subscription fee - Smart mini, which in other regions had long been closed for connections, has also sunk into oblivion.

The new Smart turned out to be a kind of hybrid of Smart and Smart Mini, and MTS itself calls the tariff “starter” - with minimal packages of minutes, SMS and Internet. Well, let's look at the parameters of the updated Smart using the example of Moscow and the region.

Basic parameters of the Smart tariff for Moscow and the region

• Subscription fee – 400 rubles per month. Daily tariff – 17.5 rubles per day (if there are not enough funds in the account for the monthly subscription fee)
• Package of minutes – 200 for calls to all networks in Russia. The package of minutes itself is very small, but you can call numbers of any operators in any region.
• SMS package – 200 to home region numbers
• Mobile Internet package – 4 GB. If the traffic runs out, then additional mobile Internet packages are automatically connected - 500 MB for 95 rubles.
• Outgoing calls to MTS Russia numbers after the end of the package of minutes are free.
• Outgoing calls to numbers of other operators in your home region - 3 rubles per minute, numbers of other operators in other regions - 5 rubles per minute.
• SMS to home region numbers after the end of the SMS package - 2 rubles per message.

Let's compare the new Smart with the tariffs that were archived on September 4, 2021 - with the old Smart and Smart Mini

The subscription fee for the new Smart is the same as for the Smart Mini. And this, of course, is good. The cheaper the better.

The number of minutes in the package is only 200. And this is almost 2 times less than on the Smart Mini, and almost 3 times less than on the previous Smart. And this, to put it mildly, is very weak. Minutes from the package are spent on all Russian networks, as was the case with the previous Smart. Smart Mini is a clear loser in this case.

SMS package – 200. I don’t consider a large number of SMS a prerequisite on modern tariffs, but there are fewer of them than on the old Smart and Smart Mini - in the same ratio as in the story with minute packages. At all tariffs, the SMS package involves sending messages only to numbers in your home region.

Mobile Internet package – 4 GB. This is less than Smart (5 GB) and more than Smart Mini (2 GB).

In addition, we can say that after the end of the package of minutes, calls to the numbers of all operators in the home region except MTS on the new Smart are 3 rubles per minute. On old tariffs – 2 rubles per minute.

The scanner allows you to wake the device from sleep. In the upper left corner there is a dual camera with 13 and 2 megapixel sensors and a powerful LED flash.

At the bottom you can find a headphone jack, an outdated microUSB interface and a speaker that doesn't set records for sound quality. On the right are the power buttons and volume rocker. They are made of cheap plastic and produce a terrible sound when pressed. On the left is a compartment for a SIM card and memory card.

Judging by the build quality, it is difficult to find differences between the budget Huawei P Smart and the most expensive flagships. This is a durable device that can survive drop tests from different heights onto a wooden surface. A modern screen and dual camera further enhance the feeling of elitism.

How to activate the Smart tariff

If the user decides that “Smart” is suitable for him and he has a desire to activate it, then he should choose one of the methods. Activation methods include the following:

• dialing a command to activate the tariff: *111*1024*1#, and then pressing the call key;
• visiting your personal account and selecting the “ Tariffs ” tab, after which you need to select the Smart MTS tariff and confirm it by pressing a special button;
• by calling the operator, who should be informed of the desire to switch to “Smart”;
• visiting an MTS showroom and purchasing a SIM card from company representatives;
• visiting the “My MTS” application and independently switching to the tariff.

The choice of method depends on the specific preferences of the client.

Connection conditions

Before switching to a specific tariff, you must carefully read the basic connection conditions. These include:

1. Mandatory payments for using a federal number are 400 rubles (for Moscow and the Moscow region), and for a city number 304.8 rubles.
2. A certain number of minutes, SMS and Internet traffic, established by the conditions, are provided monthly. Quantities may vary depending on your region of residence.
3. Incoming calls are not charged. Outgoing calls to MTS are provided free of charge (a package of minutes is spent first), and the client also receives a certain number of minutes (for Moscow 200) for calls to SIM cards of other operators. The fee for calls in excess of the provided minutes is 3 rubles for SIM cards of other operators.
4. SMS messages over the package established by the terms of the tariff are charged at 2 rubles in the home region and 3 rubles for Russian SIM cards.
5. The cost of switching to a tariff plan is zero.

When connecting to a tariff

The monthly amount is withdrawn at the time of activation of the offer or transition from another tariff. Immediately there is full access to all services provided by the package.

When using the tariff

The subscription fee is charged from the second month of using the plan and the package is updated on the date of connection or transition to the tariff. This happens every month. If there is no date for the completed connection in the next month, it is moved to the previous date. For example, if a person activated the tariff on March 31, the amount for the second month will be written off on April 30.

If the user's number is blocked, withdrawals are made after activation the following night. In this case, there is no charge for the month when the SIM card is not used.

Daily payment is available to subscribers. If there are not enough funds in the account to fully debit the monthly fee, money is charged daily at 9 rubles per day until the balance is replenished for a one-time withdrawal of the entire amount.

When the tariff is disabled

When disconnecting the service and switching to another plan, it is recommended to use up the volumes provided by the tariff. This is due to the fact that unused balances of the package do not roll over to the next month.

If the subscriber decides to unilaterally refuse services and does not replenish the balance, when the balance reaches zero or negative (up to -800 rubles), only incoming calls and SMS are available to him for 2 months. Then the number is completely blocked. The contract is considered terminated by the subscriber after 183 days if he has not used paid services.

But if after 150 days the account contains a positive balance (above 0.01 rubles) without using commercial options, the subscriber is transferred to the “Basic 092013” ​​tariff.

If a user of communication services connects or decides to change his number to a landline number, the “Unlimited call forwarding from a direct number” option must be activated. Its cost is quite high and amounts to 300 rubles. That is, incoming calls to a direct number are actually redirected to a federal one, which is why the fee is charged.

It is not possible to disable the option. Cancellation is carried out by abandoning the city number and switching to a federal one. In this case, redirection is not needed, and the subscriber is not charged.

Do unused minutes roll over to the next month?

Before activating an offer from MTS, it is important to familiarize yourself with its features:

• unused volumes of minutes, messages, network traffic in the current month are not carried over to the next;
• When changing the tariff, the remaining services in the package do not transfer to the new plan.

What happens when the traffic for a package ends before the end of the month

When the provided amount of network traffic, which is 3 GB according to the Smart tariff, is used up, an additional package is automatically provided. It includes 500 MB, its cost is 95 rubles.

The connection will be extended until the tariff package is updated. However, the additional 500 MB is activated no more than 15 times monthly. It is then possible to use the network using the “Turbo buttons”.

Additional packages are valid in all regions of the Russian Federation; the balance on them is not carried over to the next month.

To avoid connecting to the excess volume of 500 MB, you need to enter the code on your phone: *111*936#.

Calls to other countries

The MTS operator allows you to make calls from Kazan to other cities of the Russian Federation and abroad. However, prices differ depending on the country of destination of the call:

• CIS - 35 rub. /min;
• Europe - 49 rub./min;
• Other countries - 70 rub./min.

Rules for disabling the Smart tariff from MTS

If the subscriber realizes that the Smart tariff is not suitable for him, and he wants to get other conditions for calls and the Internet, then he should disconnect from it.

Many clients are sure that in order to switch to a new chosen tariff, they must disable the old one.

Methods for changing the tariff include:

• disconnection via the “My MTS” application;
• call the operator and request to disable the current tariff;
• visiting your personal account and changing your tariff yourself;
• visiting the sales office of the MTS company and contacting an employee to help about.

Detailed conditions

Before activating Smart, you need to know the basic conditions for the tariff:

1. After “Smart” is activated, the full amount of the monthly payment is written off. Then the full amount is debited on the day of connection once a month. If the client's number is blocked, then debits from the mobile account will be made after its activation. For a whole month, if the SIM card has been blocked, no fee will be charged.
2. If the client connects or changes his number to a landline number, he is additionally connected to it. This service cannot be disabled; it can only be canceled if the number is changed to a federal one. Its cost is set at 304.80 rubles. When activated, the “City number” option will be automatically activated, that is, additional digits will be allocated for the number “495”.
3. Unused minutes and traffic do not carry over to the next month.
4. After the main traffic ends, the client will receive an additional Internet package of 500 megabytes in size for 95 rubles. In total, no more than 15 auto-renewals can be used per month.

Performance

When getting to know this device, you often have to remind yourself that this is a budget device, and not some model for 40,000 rubles. or more. The Kirin 659 processor is extremely fast. The device easily copes with any task assigned to it, be it switching between applications or broadcasting music from streaming services.

The only time a decrease in speed was noticed was in the game Asphalt 8: Airborne. This heavy 3D game also ran smoothly at first, but when the smartphone started to heat up, the processor speed was reset and the frame rate dropped. Forcibly closing the application and taking a few minutes of rest allows you to correct the situation.

Testing was carried out in the Geekbench 4 benchmark. In the single-core test, the device scored 946 points, in the multi-core test 3738, at the level of the Galaxy Note 7 two years ago. One would have hoped for slightly higher scores, but in reality the device seems even a little more responsive than Samsung's former flagship.

If you're coming here from an iPhone X or Galaxy S9 with a taste for speed, the Huawei P Smart won't disappoint. It works like clockwork in almost all application scenarios, which cannot be said about all even much more expensive devices.

It is popular because it allows you to change the volume of minutes and SMS, just like on the My Smart tariff plan. But the difference is that the Tariffishe TP also provides unlimited Internet.

The monthly fee varies depending on the selected volumes:

Immediately after switching to the TP, the subscriber will be provided with a set of 500 minutes and messages worth 500 rubles. Only after the transition is it possible to change the volume. When activating a larger volume, an amount equal to the difference between the previous amount for the set volume and the amount for the selected new volume will be debited from the balance. "Super MTS"
