In this post:

  1. Cheap MTS tariffs.
  2. Cheap tariffs Megafon.
  3. Cheap Beeline tariffs.
  4. Cheap tariffs from Rostelecom (Tele2).
  5. Cheap Yota tariffs with transfer to Megafon.

Hello friends, I present to your attention cheap rates. I have already bought myself a couple of SIM cards: Rostelecom 220 (200 GB Internet package for 220 rubles/month) and Megafon 150 (30 GB for 150 rubles/month). I've been using it for over a year now - everything works.

In the modern world, mobile communications are an integral part of our lives. We constantly use the phone: send messages, visit social networks, make numerous calls. Some users spend about 5 hours a day on the mobile Internet.

So the question is: “Is there the cheapest cellular service?” relevant always and everywhere. Any sane person does not want to overpay and tries to save as much as possible. At the same time, there is definitely no desire to lose quality. That is why I decided to write an article, a kind of review of Russian cellular operators and tariff plans. To help each of you make a profitable choice.

Below we will look at which operators operate in the market. Let's consider all the advantages and disadvantages. Let's find out about the most profitable tariff plans. I will not consider the local small operators of each region. I will describe only 5 main suppliers: MTS, Beeline, Megafon, Yota and Tele2.

Each of the above cellular operators has a number of advantages and disadvantages. It is impossible to say with 100% certainty which is better. After all, everything depends not only on the coverage area, the loyalty of the company, and the efficiency of technical support. But also much more.

In any case, each of them strives to retain their client and attract new ones. Therefore, tariffs often change and improve. New profitable offers appear. At the same time, the quality of service improves.

When choosing a particular operator or tariff, first of all you must decide whether you need mobile Internet. Will a certain amount be enough? How long and often do you make or receive calls, and so on. No less important is the question of the frequency of replenishment of the mobile account and the amount.

Closed tariff plans

Here are closed corporate tariffs that cannot be activated at the operator’s office. These tariffs can be connected to your number .

Yota tariff “Calls only” in Moscow and Moskovskaya

0 ₽
In Moscow, the cost of packages of 100 minutes will be only 50 rubles per month, and calls without a selected minute limit will be:

  • 2.9 rubles within the region per minute
  • long-distance call 3.9 rubles per minute.
  • The cost drops when choosing a package of minutes, and also with packages of minutes and a subscription fee of only 50 rubles per month, unlimited calls within the Yota Russia network appear.

Cost in the region using Magadan as an example:

  • 2.3 rubles per minute within the region
  • 3.9 rubles per minute - calls within Russia
  • The subscription fee for 100 minutes is only 80 rubles per month.

Tele2 tariff “My Conversation” in Moscow and the Moscow region

200 ₽
A more suitable tariff for the price range up to 100-150 rubles is the Classic tariff. It allows you to make calls without any subscription fee and pay only for the minute you talk (postpaid).

Cost in Moscow:

  • 2 rubles per minute in home region
  • Calls to Tele2 Russia - 3 rubles per minute
  • Calls within Russia to other operators - 9 rubles per minute

allows you to make free calls within the Tele2 network in your home region for 5 rubles per day (150 rubles per month).

Cost in Magadan:

  • Calls within the region 1.2 rubles per minute
  • The cost is only 3 rubles per day.
  • The rest is unchanged - 3 rubles on Tele2 Russia and 9 rubles in the Russian Federation for other operators.

In general, Tele2 makes a good impression looking at the prices, but the only truly cheap offers are the Classic tariff. But its advantage is also that you can customize the tariff for yourself by connecting free calls or an Internet package if necessary. You can still get by with these tariffs if you call less than 100 minutes a month, otherwise you should already look towards tariffs with a subscription fee - “My conversation or My tele2”.

Connects through your Tele2 personal account or in a communication salon.

Current cellular tariffs in 2020

As already noted, tariff plans without a monthly fee are often used by those who are interested in the specific cost of outgoing calls depending on the location, as well as the affiliation of the interlocutor to their network. Usually people ask for brief information via SMS or instant messengers, but there are categories of subscribers for whom it is easiest to dial a number and talk out loud.

Some operators offer per-second billing, which allows you to save significantly when making frequent short calls.

Second-by-second Megaphone

One of the few tariffs in which the cost of a call is calculated per second of conversation. Basic prices:

  • calls in your region – 3 rubles/min;
  • in Russia to Megafon – 5.1 rubles. (for all others – 13 rubles);
  • when traveling around the country, calls to local numbers are paid as calls in the home region - 3 rubles;
  • messages – 1.95 rub. (4 rubles throughout Russia).

For 1 MB of traffic you will have to pay more than 10 rubles; there is no option to connect packages. Due to per-second billing, a subscriber can save money if the majority of his calls last less than a minute.

The tariff can only be activated at Megafon's communication office.

More details on the official website - https://megafon.ru/

Switch to Zero Megafon

This tariff plan is suitable for people who mainly call Megafon numbers:

  • calls within the network – 1.2 rubles/min (all others – 1.5 rubles);
  • calls to other cities – 5.1 rub. to Megafon numbers (13 rubles for all others).
  • SMS – 3 rub.

Attention! To use the Internet, you can activate the “Go to Zero+” option (5 rubles per day).

The connected option provides an Internet package (3 GB). Calls to Megafon numbers in your region become free.

Tele2 Classic

The conditions of this tariff are as simple as possible; they will be convenient for people who call numbers from different operators:

  • all calls in your region - 2.5 rubles;
  • calls within the country – 3 rubles. within the network (for all others – 9 rubles);
  • messages – 1.5 rub. (in Russia – 2.5 rubles).

If desired, you can connect Internet packages (1 GB – 120 rubles, 3 GB – 200 rubles per month).

Tele2 My Conversation

Subscribers who actively use different types of communication can pay attention to the “My Conversation” tariff. Its disadvantage is the presence of a subscription fee (200 rubles per month), but for this amount you can get:

  • free calls to Tele2 numbers throughout Russia;
  • 200 minutes to numbers of other operators in your home region;
  • 2 GB Internet;
  • unlimited packages for social networks and instant messengers.

Expert opinion Yulia I know the tariffs like the back of my hand! Internet packages can be sold on the Tele2 exchange and reduce the costs associated with the subscription fee to zero. You can even make a profit, provided that you find a suitable buyer for your unspent SMS/Gigabytes.

Beeline Second

Another tariff from Beeline for pensioners has per-second billing.

Cost of services:

  • all outgoing calls in the home region - 1.9 rubles;
  • calls within Russia – 4.95 rubles. within the network (to other numbers – 11.95 rubles);
  • messages – 1.6 rub. (3.16 rubles in Russia).

In general, this tariff is suitable for people who often make short calls in their region. The cost of Internet is 10.95 rubles. for 1 MB, if desired, you can connect an additional package of 4 GB (fee 9.15 rubles per day).

Zero tariff Tinkoff Mobile: no options

More details on the official website - https://www.tinkoff.ru/mobile-operator/

Tinkoff Bank supports its own virtual operator Tinkoff Mobile. Tariffs are activated on the official website using the constructor, where you can select the required service packages and their quantity.

The so-called “zero” tariff does not have connected packages (minutes, SMS, Internet, unlimited traffic for popular online services). The basic cost of outgoing calls to any numbers in Russia in this case is 2.9 rubles. in a minute. The cost of messages throughout Russia is also 2.9 rubles.

The tariff plan from Tinkoff is convenient because there are no restrictions or additional conditions. If necessary, the subscriber can always activate packages of various services.

Super MTS

MTS (official website https://mts.ru/personal), of course, also retains a tariff for pensioners in its line of tariff plans. According to the operator’s description, “Super MTS” is suitable for subscribers who use a push-button telephone and most often make calls within the network in their home region.

Conditions:

  • outgoing calls within the network - 1 rub. (RUB 1.75 for other operators);
  • calls within Russia – 3.5 rubles. on MTS (12 rubles on all others);
  • messages – 2 rub. in the home region (2.5 rubles in Russia).

If desired, the subscriber can activate the “Everything is super” option (10 rubles per day). As part of the option, calls to MTS numbers in your region become free, and 25 MB of traffic is also provided.

VTB Mobile

VTB Bank, like Tinkoff, also created a virtual operator “VTB-Mobile”, which has especially attractive conditions for the bank’s clients.

To use the tariff without a subscription fee, you need to have a VTB multicard and make monthly purchases with it in the amount of more than 5 thousand rubles.

If this condition is met, the operator provides the following options every month:

  • 150 minutes to all numbers in Russia (including landlines);
  • unlimited calls within the network (a package of minutes is not used);
  • 50 SMS;
  • 3 GB Internet traffic.

If a VTB client wants to use a tariff under other conditions, then he can independently create it in the constructor on the operator’s website, and then receive a discount of 200 rubles.

MTS tariffs are only for calls without subscription fee*

Depending on the region, MTS offers different tariff options without a subscription fee, but there are only 3 of them - Super MTS, Red Energy and Guest. In some regions they are also absent, but these are not the majority.

It is worth noting that all MTS tariffs without a subscription fee upon first connection additionally include paid services with a subscription fee and they need to be disabled, be it “SMS Package” or “Everything is Super”. If you use the Internet and forgot to connect it, you can attach it with a MB package and pay per day. Otherwise, for attentive users, these tariffs are WITHOUT SUBSCRIPTION FEE. Let's look at it in order.

Beeline

This operator has several cool tariffs with per-second billing without a subscription fee and per-minute debiting. Let's see what subscribers can expect?

Second

Here, the billing will be per second - you will not have to pay for unnecessary services, only for the call time. There is no subscription fee:

  • One minute of conversation with any mobile number on the home network – 1.93 rubles.

Let's move on to the second option? If the first tariff plan does not suit you, you can expand the functionality!

Bi+

Another elegant tariff plan, which contains nothing superfluous, will appeal to those who rarely use a smartphone.

  • There is no subscription fee;
  • A minute of call to a mobile or landline in your region is 2.5 rubles.

Billing is not per second, but per minute. There is a small nuance - the given parameters are available without connecting the “Start” option. If you activate this service:

  • Subscription fee – 6 ₽;
  • 3 GB Internet;
  • Unlim for communication within the network throughout Russia.

We are done with the first operator - his competitor is next. By the way, we recommend reading about Megafon tariffs without a monthly fee for pensioners! There you will find a lot of interesting offers.

Call costs

For a comparison of call costs, see the table above.

The price varies from five kopecks per second to 12 rubles per minute of conversation, depending on the conditions. Beeline and MegaFon have tariffs with per-second payment. When connecting per-minute tariffs, you need to take into account how operators charge money during a call. Most often, the cost of communication over three seconds is rounded up. That is, if you talk for 2 minutes and 5 seconds, you will pay for 3 minutes of conversation.

Some other tariffs include options in which, with the first call per day, a subscription fee is charged for a package of minutes for the whole day. It is convenient when the SIM card is not used regularly, but many times on a given day. However, daily calls will charge a fixed amount of money from your account.

Internet cost

For a comparison of Internet costs, see the table above.

In tariffs without a monthly fee with inexpensive calls, 1 megabyte of sending and receiving data costs about 9-10 rubles. Likewise, some tariffs offer daily packages (10, 20 or 100 megabytes). A long-term access to the Network at such prices will be quite expensive, especially if you compare the cost with tariff plans that provide a fixed subscription fee.

Rostelecom tariff “Super Simka Free” in Moscow and the Moscow region

  • 2 rubles per minute within the region
